Rustic Crate #3

 Happy Saturday!  I hope today finds you doing well and enjoying the weekend.  I'm on the struggle bus right now and feeling a little overwhelmed, but such is life.  I thought I'd get a post done today and share my last card made with the Rustic Crate.  This one is Christmas so you can see the seasonal versatility of this set. I used Stampin' Blends to color in these poinsettias

Rustic Crate #2

 Yes, it's for real!!!!  I am back for the second day in a row.  I have been feeling so much better since I started this new health journey.  Not a lot that I want to share right now, other than I'm making wiser and better health choices and my body can sure tell it.  I'm not so naive as to think this isn't a process and I know it can't heal me from my bad knee and fibromyalgia and that I will have some tough days here and there, but praying they will be fewer and farther in between. So lets get to some stamping.

This card is using a completely different die in the set than I used yesterday.  I can tell you the key to making this look better is to blend some ink on the edges.  It really makes it pop.  I wasn't liking it at first and then checked with some demo friends and they showed me what they did to get it to pop.  I used used one of the amazing blender brushes.  They really  make a difference.

I used a different fun fold on this.  It was sort of something I tried to make up and I'm not sure I'm super happy with it, but when I perfect it I will be sure to share it with you.  I hope you like this second card using this set.  The next one will be a Christmas card so be sure to check back soon.

Rustic Crate

 Happy Saturday!!!  I hope you are having an amazing start to your day!  I'm doing some SU biz house cleaning today.  Just odds and ends I need to get done.  Frank is working and will be bringing me home some storage boxes this afternoon and I'm hoping to make some good progress then, but for now I thought I'd share what I was up to this week.  I decided I wanted to make some fall cards and I turned to the awesome Rustic Crate stamp set and dies.  I had only used this once for a blog hop and then well, I guess it got to the bottom of the pile.  So I'll be sharing the next couple of days cards I've made with these great products.  

I used lots of textures on this card and at first I wasn't sure I liked where it was going, but in the end I think it turned out really nice.  I will post the products I used below.  And I am blessed beyond measure.  Today I'm feeling blessed by my two daughters.  They sure are special girls and they are so supportive of me in my life, whether it's my business or this new health journey I'm on.  I'm finally putting my health in the front and I love how supportive my girls are.  I've told them I'm not only doing it for myself, but for them.  I want to be here for a long time with them.  I know most mothers thing their kids are awesome, but mine really are! LOL!  If you know them, you know that too. As I was making this card I was thinking about them and what a blessing they are in my life.
