Hey there! I'm so sorry, but my blog may have have had some malware on it. I'm just not sure. Everything seems to be working fine now with the steps I've taken. I'm really sorry if it caused any trouble. I do take precautions and have the most up to date protection. Sometimes there are just idiots out there to make life a little bumpy.
Here is just a little sneak peek of a project for the Bay Shore scrapbooking weekend. I'll show the full project later this week.
Welcome to the OSAT February Blog Hop---Love is in the Air! I know this hop is going to be awesome. Love is such a wonderful thing and something to be celebrated every day, not just Valentine's Day. So without further ado, here are my projects.
I was so excited when I realized that the Red Foil Paper carried over from the Holiday catalog. Red is my fav color so this was right up my ally. I used the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits on this card. Don't you just love the shine of that foil paper? I know I do.
For my 3D project I wanted to use the Berry Basket die because I could fit lots of candy in it. I love the Russel Stover holiday chocolates. They usually have them for all holidays so I got a big bag for my class and then today while I was at the pharmacy I noticed they had them too and thought I'd better pick up another one. I mean I do have more Valentine's to give out and I only give the best, right? ;) I made the bow using the bow punch and this time used the Silver Foil paper and then layered the tag with it as well. It was fun to come up with my phrase using several of the stamp sets from the Bloom' Love stamp set. Before assembling I ran the basket pieces through the Happy Hearts Embossing Folder, which I thought gave it a nice touch. Who wouldn't like to receive this, right?
Well thanks for stopping by and be sure and visit fellow blog hopper Alisa Tilsner . I've not hopped with Alisa before or at least I don't think I have. Either way I look forward to seeing her projects. You can find the list of all hoppers below. There are 21 of us this month. Amazing! Enjoy!
Well I had been doing so good with my postings this year. I hadn't missed a day at all this year and then this past Sunday happened. I just didn't have the energy to even come to my office. I've had a couple of rough days with my fibromyalgia so I made a doctor appointment. I also needed to see her because I've been having trouble with the joint in my thumb. Well it's not really the joint, it's the tendon and I am going to have to have surgery. I'm not sure yet when it will be. I had X-rays today and then I will see the surgeon as soon as he has the X-rays. I was hoping it might just be a, "give me a shot fix", but no such luck. She did give me a shot and some meds for the fibro pain though and said I should be feeling better by Friday. A shot of steroids once in awhile can get it out of the flare up. I don't think I've had a shot since probably this time last year. I try to ride it out, but this time I just couldn't. Anyway I hope to be feeling better soon. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I know you are out there even though you don't always post comments. I know who you are. I appreciate my readers more than you know.
We got a butt load of snow the last two days and it has gotten cold. Roads are icy and drifted. Frank has cleared the driveway twice today. This morning so I could go to the doctor and then tonight. It's our first real snow this winter. We got around 11" or 12" here. That's enough for me. LOL!
OK, here is my project and also I want to remind you that tomorrow will be the OSAT Blog Hop. It starts at 6:30 am EST. I know there will be some great projects. I can't wait to see what everyone has come up with. So be sure to stop by tomorrow and take the hop.
Hi there stamping friends. It's Saturday and I've once again picked a project I found on line to feature today. This card really caught my eye. I wish the person that made it would have included their name so that I could give credit. If it is yours, please let me know. I love how the colors show up on the black and what they did with the border.
So simply, but elegant. Thanks whoever you are.
I finished my picture this afternoon since all I felt like doing was laying on the couch due to this fibro flare up. Tomorrow is another day, right?
Here it is almost 11:00 pm and I remembered I hadn't posted today. This is when I really love my iPad. I had a pretty busy day. I had a cake order along with some cupcakes to make for a customer and then I did a friend a favor this afternoon. When Frank got home it was time to ear supper and relax and catch up on some of our shows. So I will just share the cake I made. I thought it turned out pretty cute.
I also did a little coloring tonight while watching tv. It's a work in progress, but I find it so relaxing.
Well tomorrow is a stamping and prepping day for my class next week.
I'm back today with some pretties. I just can't stray too long. What can I say? I'm a girlie girl! I'm having so much fun with coloring right now and this set is perfect for that. Believe it or not I didn't use any Wink of Stella on it, but I may still have to do that. *wink*
