Fear Not Rose Wonder

It's Saturday and I've spent most of the day in my stamp room. Frank is off cutting wood and Brooke was able to help him today so that is always a good thing. This will come in handy and should get us through a good part of what is left of winter, unless it gets really bad. We've heated our house with an outdoor wood stove for probably 18 years or so. Frank loves to cut wood and it sure saves us a ton on heating.

I have another card today using the Rose Wonder set, but this time I used a sentiment from the set and the flowers are from the SAB set What I Love. I bought the Rose Wonder set not even realizing that part of it was this Bible verse, Isaiah 41:10. It is one of my favorites and I was so tickled to see it in this set. I decided to use it as my focal point on my card. It is stamped in Early Espresso and I think it is a nice contrast to the Blackberry Bliss and Tip Top Taupe.

So what do you think? Do you like? I think it really has an elegant feel to it with the lace and the sequins trim.

SAB Thank You

I have just a quick post today. Not feeling the best and in a lot of pain, so I will make this short and sweet. My card for today is made using the SAB stamp set What I Love. This is a beautiful set and you could do several techniques with it. I chose to do some water coloring with it. The paper it is stamped on is our Shimmery White cardstock. Sale-a-bration Sunday?

It's always so hard for me to come up for a title for my post. Well, I shouldn't say always, sometimes it comes to me quickly and other times, not so much. Since we are in Sale-a-bration time or better known as SAB I thought that's what I would call today and besides it's a SS. LOL!

Today's card is a total case from the SAB catalog. This SAB catalog has lots of good samples in it and I wanted to do the one that featured the Botanicals for You stamp set. It should have been easy right? Well I had a smudge problem going on today. Not sure what my issue was, but I started this card several times. In the end I added some bling to cover that up. I know maybe I added too much bling, but is that really every possible? Once I start to put rhinestones on, I have a hard time stopping. LOL!
