Going, Going, Gone..........

The retiring stamp set list is out and so I thought I'd share some of the best of the best that are retiring.  These are my favorites so if you haven't purchased them don't delay.  Get them before they are gone.  This first one is using the Day of Gratitude set.  I absolutely love this set and I'm sad to see it leave.

This next one is Elements of Style.  I have used this set so much and it is actually one of the first sets, if not thee first set I purchase in the clear mount.  I have used it for cards, scrapbook pages as well as some 3D items.  Such a great set, so don't miss out.
We made the butterfly using Glossy cardstock which was on the retirement list and has since sold out.  :(  I will really miss both the set and the cardstock.  You have until June 3 to purchase these sets, but order ASAP any retiring accessories because they are only while supplies last.

You can find the retiring lists here.

Check them out and you can place your order on my website HERE or by calling or emailing me with your order.  Check out my FB page if you'd like to see something that is coming soon in the new catalog.

Well that it's for now.  I've been cleaning and organizing trying to find some peace in our house after the flooded basement last week.  It's really hard to see my stamp room ruined again when it doesn't seem like that long ago we had our house fire.  It's actually been 4 years, but in some ways it seems like just yesterday.  We'll get things fixed again and I will eventually get organized again, but it's just going to take some time.

Hope you're having a good weekend.
Blessings,
Renee

Rain, rain go away..........................

It has been raining here again and we are flooded.  Our basement this time has not faired well.  Water made it's way into every room in our basement, even rooms that have never had water in them.  My stamp room floor is ruined.  This morning it became a matter of moving to higher ground as opposed to trying to suck water.  We just couldn't keep up.  Frank had to head to work and my daughter Brooke helped me as much as she could before work and we got everything moved and blocked up to keep it out of the water.  None of my stamp stuff has been ruined as of now.  I will admit it's been a little disheartening to say the least.  I feel like my space has been invaded.  If you have a space that you call your own, I'm sure you know what I mean.  It will be 4 years ago on Sunday that we had our house fire and that was devastating, but my room was redone and it's been a blessing so it's sad to see it destroyed once again.  I will recover from this too, but it's going to take some time.  When I feel stressed I like to stamp and not being able to get at my stuff is going to be hard, but such is life and I know there are so many much worse off than we are.  The main level of our home is dry and that is a blessing.

So anyway onto a card I made a couple of weeks ago.  This was a card I sent to my friend/upline Amy as a thank you for my birthday gift.  This little bunny set is so cute and I think it can be used for things other than Easter.  I love the color combo....Summer Starfruit, Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party.  The paper is from SAB as is the ribbon.

Well that's it for now.  Time to get some supper made and see what if anything can be done in the basement.

Blessings,
Renee

It's been a week

I know it's been a week since I posted and I'm sorry once again for that.  I just seem to allow to many things to get in the way of what I really want and need to be doing.  Do you ever feel like you are torn in a 100 directions at once?  I hate this feeling and sure wish I could rise above it.  Believe me I'm trying.  This last week we had so much rain and our basement had water.  We kept it at bay for several days from getting into my office and then BANG!  Over night it was there.  Nothing was ruined thankfully.  We had moved any furniture and important stuff to the other side of my office/stamp room so it's a bit crowed and nothing is where it really belongs.  And to make matters worse I still didn't have our taxes done so Saturday was the day to finish those along with my sister's. Now it's Tuesday and my sister's birthday and we are having dinner here tonight and my dishwasher won't work.  What else can break down?  Sorry I don't mean to complain.  It's just been really trying lately, but on a good note the sun is shinning today and I've accomplished a few things here around the house.

Now onto Stampin'Up! news.

There is a new kit available to today that you are just going to love and especially if you like the dress framelits.  It's called the Doll-Up Birthday kit.  You can find it HERE and can order through my website or by contacting me.

Thanks for sticking with me thus far.  Now for some stamping fun.

Here is the card I made for my cousin's baby shower.  This is an old Stampin'Up! set that I have been saving for years.  I've recently started to use it in my girls baby scrapbooks.  Here is the inside.

These were the Easter treats that I made for my girls.  They are old enough now that they really don't want much or even expect anything, but I still like to do little treats for them.  These were made with the Ovals Framelits.

Ok, that's it for today.  Sorry such a long post, but I wanted to get all the info out to you.  Thanks for stopping by.

Blessings,
Renee

Happy Birthday to my Baby!

If you've been following my blog long you know that my kids are pretty special to me and I like to brag on them and you also know that my blog posts that fall on their birthdays are pretty much about them.  I hope you will humor me again this year.

Today is my baby's birthday.  Yes, Brooke turned 22 today.  Wow the time goes so fast.  My cousin is having a baby in June and we had her baby shower on Saturday and all I could think was all the excitement that is ahead of them.  So many precious moments, but they will go by so fast.  I look forward to that little ones birthday and watching her grow.  Yeah and I've hinted to my cousin that I think Renee would be a wonderful name. ;)  I'll share the card I made for her tomorrow.

Right now I want to share a precious picture of my girl.

She was probably about 3 here and yes I did make that dress.  She was a wonderful child and she's a wonderful young lady as well.  So proud of you Brooke and hope this year ahead brings you much happiness and success.

Here's a pic of her and me

Now to her birthday card.

This was fun to putz with and make girly for her.  I spritzed the silver glimmer paper with alcohol mixed with Primrose Petals ink refill using one the the SU spritz bottles to give the pink color.  I did the same to the flower trim.

Well thanks for stopping by and thanks for indulging me with my girl.  Check back tomorrow for that baby shower card.

Blessings,
Renee

Free Shipping Weekend

With our FREE shipping weekend, now would be a good time to stock up on those things that have been on your wish list.  It would be the best time to get those colors that are retiring that you just can't live without as well.  Retiring colors are only while supplies last.  Here is the list below of retiring colors.

Listed below are the colors in the Color Re-fresh.  Aren't they just yummy?

I know I haven't posted any creative projects as of late, but I do have things to show you, but just haven't had time to photograph them and edit to post.  I've been sick AGAIN!  For a person who rarely is sick I've had about enough as of late.  I spent some time in the ER the other day after an appointment with my doc and she sent me directly to the ER.....wheelchair and all.  I told her I could walk, but she insisted.  So after a bunch of tests, IV and some not so yummy medicine they sent me home with a new pill and some of the not so yummy medicine and a diagnosis of gastritis.  It was unbelievable how the pain actually felt like it did before my gall bladder surgery a couple of years ago.  I am feeling better, but still a little leary of the pain coming back, but that is where the not so yummy medicine comes in.

So thanks for sticking with me and be sure to check out all the things going on with SU and take advantage of that FREE SHIPPING as well.

Blessings,
Renee

Exciting News!!!!

Stampin'Up! announced some exciting news this morning and I just can't wait to share them with you.  So let's get started.

The first thing is.................

This weekend April 6-8 all orders placed will receive FREE STANDARD SHIIPPING!!!  Now isn't that exciting?  This would be a great time to stock up or get some of those things on your wish list.

The second thing is.............

A Color Renovation.  Yes it's been 3 years since the last one and Stampin'Up! informed us at that time that we could be seeing it happen again about every 3-5 years.  I am really excited about this one and I think you will be too.

Remember retiring colors are ONLY WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.  That includes ink, paper, ribbon, embellishments, etc.  You'll see some returning IN COLORS and one new color SMOKY SLATE that will be available on June 1 with the debut of the new 2013/2014 Catalog.

This weekend would be a great time to stock up on those retiring colors and get FREE SHIPPING too.

Not so good news.....
The WATERCOLOR PENCILS and the WATERCOLOR CRAYONS are being discontinued.  Due to unforeseen problems with our supplier for Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Watercolor Pencils, we have decided to discontinue these two products.  The Brights Collection Watercolor Crayons are completely gone.

Now for the good news! We still have the remaining collections of the Watercolor Wonder Crayons available to order. The Subtles (item 119802), Neutrals (item 119805), and Regals (item 119803) Collections are only available while supplies last. Get 'em before they're gone!

As always if you have questions please feel free to contact me.  Remember orders can be placed 24/7 in my online store or by contacting me directly.

Blessings,
Renee
