Where does the time go?

When I came to post I realized it's been two weeks since I've posted.  Where does the time go?  I was extremely busy getting ready for my new catalog open house and BOGO sale.  I had a great turn out and it was so good to touch base with my stamping friends.  Also since I posted last Frank had his 6 year cancer check up and all is good for another year.  They have even been able to reduce his thyroid medication and it's now cheaper.  Yay!  Praise the Lord!  We are thankful for any help that comes our way when it comes to medical bills.

Here is the make and take from my open house.

This was a quick and easy card, but I thought it was very cute, if I do say so myself.  The base of the card is Tip Top Taupe.  The next layer is the Neutrals DSP in Early Espresso.  The stamp set is You've Got This and the flower was stamped in Tip Top Taupe on top of Blushing Bride.  The words were stamped in Early Espresso.  The corner of that layer was punched with a new punch that is coming out in the Holiday catalog.  You are going to love this punch.  It has three punches in one.

On Saturday Frank and I worked on making this shelving unit for storage in the basement.  Normally these tubs are stacked on top of each other and when I need something, it's usually in the bottom tub.  This is going to be so much nicer to get at things. Maybe now I can get at some of those upcyle projects I've been wanting to do.

Today I took a little time and played with My Paper Pumpkin kit for August.  This kit is so cute and so easy to make and as always you have the ink and the stamps leftover for other projects.  Would you like to get this kit?  Well you know what?  After you sign up for MPP you then have the opportunity to purchase past kits and even refills for some of the kits.  Remember you can get the first two months of MPP for 1/2 price if you sign up before September 10.  It's a great time to try MPP.  Would you like to know more?  For those who are local, I'm having a Paper Pumpkin get acquainted night on September 1 at 6:30 pm.  You will be making some MPP projects.  The cost of the class is only $5 and you will go home with some handmade items you can use.  Space is limited so sign up early.  If you want to sign up for MPP visit my SITE.  Use the code HALFOFF.  This is for first-time subscribers only.  If you have a new email and maybe you got MPP before and canceled, you would be considered a new subscriber.

Here are the projects from this months kit.  There is enough to make three of each of these.  So quick, easy and fun!

Here are the weekly deals.  They will be available until August 31 or while supplies last.

Well I guess that's all for today.  If you have any questions for me please feel free to contact me at ibecakes@yahoo.com and I will get back with you ASAP.

Blessings,
Renee

Best Day Ever!

Hey there my stamping peeps!  How was your Tuesday?  I hope it's been good.  Mine, not so great, but tomorrow is another day.  When I went to get the mail late this afternoon I had happy mail.  Guess I should have went out to get it sooner.  My wonderful upline Linda sent me some goodies thanking me for all the sharing I do in our group.  I love to share so it's really not work, but it sure is great to be appreciated.  Here is what she sent me.  Thanks again so much Linda!

There is a package of the Expressions Natural Elements (she also used that on the card and colored it with a marker), a package of the new Metallic Doilies and a package of the beautiful Metal Rimmed Pearls.  These items have been on my wish list so I can't wait to create with them.  Maybe I'll stay up tonight.

Here is my project for today.
I loved how this turned out because it came out just like I had imagined it.  The flowers were punched out and the leaves were fussy cut with the paper snipes.  Here is what was used:

Paper: Crushed Cucumber, Watermelon Wonder and Whisper White cardstock, Cherry on Top DSP
Ink: Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush
Stamps: Birthday Blossoms
Other: Pansy Punch, 2-1/2" circle punch, Circle Framelits, Rhinestones, Dimensionals.

This week's deals.

Renee

July's Paper Pumpkin

I just realized this morning that I hadn't shared July's Paper Pumpkin kit with you all.  These were fun cards to make and for the most part I just went with the directions that comes with the kit.  I liked the ideas so much that I didn't feel a need to do other things with it, although I certainly could have.  The stamp set is adorable and could be used for so many occasions.  That little cup is just the cutest!

The kit came with enough to make 8 cards and included the envelopes, stamp set, inks and embellishments.  And for those of you that hate to tie bows, the bows were already made.  That's what makes these kits so easy and fun.  It has everything you need.  You just need some adhesive and  and scissors for most kits.

Right now you can join Paper Pumpkin and get the first two months for half-off.  This is for new subscriptions only.  Please visit HERE and sign up choosing me as your demonstrator.  Once you are a member you will also have the privilege of purchasing leftover past kits and even refills.  Paper Pumpkin is really a great way to get your "crafting on" in an affordable way with very little time.  Remember you can cancel your subscription or put it on hold at any time, but once you've tried it, I'm sure you'll want to keep getting it.  It's only $19.95 a month plus tax and INCLUDES the shipping.  Don't forget though, that right now you can get the first two months for half off by using the HALFOFF code.

Don't forget about my New Catalog Open House on August 18.  You can view all the details HERE!  Please feel free to follow me on Facebook as well.  You can like my page HERE www.facebook.com/stampinwithrenee.

Hope you are having a blessed day!

Bow Builder Punch Tip

Hi stampers!  I've got a video for you today along with my project.  I made a gift bag using the Gift Bag Punch Board and I needed to finish it off.  This is a birthday gift for an old friend of mine.  We've been friends since our kids were in pre-school.  Yeah that's been a few years.  I wanted to add some leaves to my flower on this bag and figured out a great way to make some using the Bow Builder Punch.  I show you how in the video below.

Watch the video below to see how to get extra use out of your Bow Builder Punch

Open House Date

Hey friends, it's time for my annual new catalog open house and my BOGO sale. I will have all my retired merchandise out and ready for sale. I will have my craft fair items available as well, but these will not be included in the BOGO part of the sale. Remember this is one night only and I really need you to RSVP if you want to participate in the make and take. Don't miss out on this once a year event. If you haven't picked up your new catalog yet, I will have catalogs available along with the new holiday catalog. Hope you can come. Again, please RSVP by August 17 if you plan on participating in the make and take. Refreshments will be served. You can also text me at 989-551-1685

I have a project for you today as well.

This card was made using the set Butterfly Basics.  The DSP I used is Bohemian.  The butterfly was of course cut out using the Butterflies Thinlits and I used the Silver Foil paper.  I then added a the Bermuda Bay sequins for some bling.

Here's this weeks deals.

Blessings,
Renee
