OSAT Blog Hop Sixteen Candles

Welcome to the February OSAT Blog Hop! Whether you’ve started with my blog or you’ve started somewhere else I hop you will take the entire hop around and view some amazing projects by the OSAT blog hop team.

I knew exactly what I wanted to use for my projects.  I love the Lily Impressions DSP from the Sale-a-bration brochure this year.  The colors are so bright and so pretty and they coordinate with the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and the Lily Pad dies.  Read on down farther to find out how you can get these products for free.

I just love everything about this card.....the colors, the stamp set, the textures. This card has it all.  I embossed the Gorgeous Grape with the new New Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder. I colored the flowers with the Stampin’Blends.  I then chose the Stitched So Sweetly dies using Sparkle Glimmer Paper for more texture along with some Crumb Cake cardstock and a die from the Lily Pad dies.  To top it off I used the Braided Burlap Trim.  I thought I didn’t need that trim because lets face it, I have a lot of trims and I have the Braided Linen Trim.  That will be ok.  No it won’t!  If you like that trim you are going to absolutely love this wider 5/16” Braided Burlap Trim.  Like I said before, I love this card and I hope you do too.
I find myself more and more putting an extra layer inside.  I think that is just nice to have that little extra touch inside of a card that you have put your time and love into.

My 3D project is something that I have done before, but I really needed to make one of these for a birthday present so why not make one again?

I used the cardboard that comes in Paper Pumpkin to make this clipboard.  I used the same DSP that I used on the card.  I then added the Gorgeous Grape stripped ribbon and made a happy birthday tag.  I colored the White Baker’s Twine using the Highland Heather Blend.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and please continue on to the next person on the hop.
Blessings,
Renee

OSAT Blog Hop Purses, Poppies and Paris

Welcome to our first blog hop of 2020!!!!  I'm so glad you have decided to hop with us today.  This is going to be an amazing hop this month.  This is the start of our new Jan-June mini catalog and also Sale-a-bration.  It's the greatest time of the SU year!!!  So let's get started.

I knew I wanted to do something for my 3D project this month that could go on my Valentine tree and I happened to find these wooden hang tags in our local Dollar General.  There were 8 tags for $1.50, so that is the direction I went and I wanted to use our new lovely Parisian Bundle.  I used our Liquid Glue to glue the DSP to the wooden tag and then used the coordinating dies and stamp set from the bundle/suite to embellish them.

These are the tags I found at the Dollar General

Here are the tags hanging on my rose gold Valentine tree.  I used some of the dies from the Be Mine dies as well to embellish.

Here is my card using the same DSP and the Eiffel Tower die.  I chose to use Sparkle Glimmer Paper and the beautiful Country Floral 3D embossing folder to give this card some bling.  The picture doesn't really do it justice.  It's so sparkly.

Well thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my projects.  I will post pictures later next week when I get my tree done.   I love to decorate for all the holidays.

Blessings,
Renee

OSAT Blog Hop Winter Festival

Hey there stampin' friends! Welcome to the OSAT November Blog Hop Winter Festival!!!  I missed last months hop and I was so sad.  I thought I had an event that week and I was preparing for it and even got to the place to set up for the weekend and discovered it was the following weekend.  That tells you a little about my crazy. Only a little though. LOL!  So I left it all packed in my van for a week and was over prepared for that vendor event. LOL!  Anyway I'm glad to be back hopping this moth.

I knew I wanted to use some of my new stuff I haven't had time to play with.  It was all waiting for me.  I decided I wanted to use the Perfectly Plaid suite for my projects.  I just absolutely love the DSP in that suite so that is where I started.  I'll start with my 3D project first because that's where I started in my creating. I opened those beautiful Gold Mini Pizza Boxes and that is where the creativity began.I made a belly band to go around the box and embossed it with the new 3D Winter Knit embossing folder.  I then punched a couple trees from the Wrapped in Plaid DSP with the Pine Tree Punch.  Did you know you get 10% off when you purchase a bundle like the Perfectly Plaid Bundle? I then stamped the middle tree with Shaded Spruce ink and punched out. Popped that tree up with Mini Dimensionals and added some Gold Metallic Pearls.  I wanted to put a star on the top and I hadn't ordered the copper star embellishments so I used a retired star embellishment and colored it with the Cherry Cobbler Dark Blend.  Usually I wouldn't use something retired, but you do have the option of getting the stars in copper and you can color them.  I used the words from the Well Said stamp set.  While not really a Christmas sentiment, it would work great for giving your "always" a gift.

I used the same items on my card except this time I didn't use the punch and I added some of the new Snow Accents Puff Paint, some of the Shaded Spruce/Gold 3/8" Stripped Ribbon and the Gold Foil paper. I also stamped the words in Versamark ink and embossed in Gold Embossing powder.

Have you tired the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint?  It's really cool.  A bit of a learning curve because it's a little thinner that some we carried years ago, but it puffs up great and gives your projects that bit of WOW dimension!

Wouldn't this be a great gift and card combo?  I think jewelry would fit great into it.  I love Origami Owl jewelry and I think their Pearl Bolo bracelet would look perfect in this box.  Hint, hint to my hubby if he happens to read this post.  LOL!

Well thanks for stopping by and please click on the next name below to view some more amazing projects.
Blessings,
Renee
