Sneak Peak

Wow!!!  Life has been crazy lately.  I use to think when my girls were little it was hectic, little did I know that the time of aging relatives would be much more so.  Last week we had my mom and my aunt into ER for UTI infections.  One on Monday and the other on Thursday.  My aunt ended up being admitted for a couple of days so that meant a lot of running, but fortunately the hospital is only 10 minutes away.  My mom is doing much better and my aunt is slowly getting better. These types of infections can really wreck havoc on the elderly.  Today I took my aunt to her oncologist and she got a good report and doesn't have to see him for 6 months so we are really happy with that news.  When I got home late this afternoon I had every intention of heading to the stamp room, but ended up taking a nap,  I know can you believe napping over stamping?  I admittedly was pretty tired.

Early last evening though I did make it to the paper and inks and made a quick card using some of my new Sneak Peak Stampin'Up! goodies.  I just had to touch those new In Colors.  Here is the card that I made.

The stamp set is called Make a Cake and the words are from a stamp set called Itty Bitty Banners.  The DSP is called Patio Party and the ribbon is a new Stitched Whisper White Grosgrain.  Do you want to know the best part of all these goodies?  They were all absolutely FREE!!!  Yes FREE because I signed a new recruit during our recent Sale-a-bration.  Did I have to cut the banner out freehand you ask?  Well thanks for asking. No I didn't.  There is a new set of Framelits called Bitty Banner Framlits and it matches.......you guessed it, the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.  The colors I used here are Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple.  Oh and the ribbon is so easy to tie,.  Not stiff like the old grosgrain ribbon.

Don't forget you've got less than 2 weeks to get those retiring stamp sets and accessories before they are gone forever.  You can place an order anytime on my Stampin'Up! website or contact me by phone or email and I can place that order for you.

Sorry this has been a rather wordy and lengthy post, but I hope you enjoyed this sneak peak.  As of now I have no doctor appointments to take people to tomorrow so I'm hoping to head to the stamp room sometime tomorrow.

Blessings,
Renee
