OSAT Blog Hoppers No Rules New Year

Hey my happy stamper friends!  How are you doing today?  I hope it's warm and wonderful wherever you are.  Here, not so much.  I'm just really no fan of Winter any more.  I hate the cold although I love to wear scarfs.  LOL!  I'm hopping with the OSAT Facebook group today.  I will admit I struggled a little coming up with my projects.  That No Rules thing threw me off I guess.  My sister is always telling me I'm sure a rule follower.  I'm sure you can guess, she's not! LOL!

Well here are my projects. I decided to go with a birthday theme and the lovely Birthday Bouquet DSP.  I absolutely LOVE this paper, not to mention the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon.  I wish we had this ribbon in every color.

For my 3D project I decided to use the Cutie Pie Thinlits.  This little box is so easy to put together and makes a great box for a small gift or even better CASH!!!  I wonder if I can get hubby to put cash in there for me?  Hmmm.......  I'll tell him it's a photo prop.  LOL!

I again wanted to incorporate that luscious Glitter Ribbon on it so I tied it around the box although the box has a small latch to keep it closed.  I used the matching stamp set for the thinlits called Sweet Stack.

Here's another view so you can see how I tied that ribbon.  It's a great ribbon because it doesn't really have a front or back per se.

This would make a nice little gift combo for a special person.  Now to think about who has a birthday coming up......my brother-in-law?  Naahh, although I'm sure he'd like the cash.  LOL!

Thanks for hopping with us today.  Be sure to check out the next stop on the hop, which is Anna Smith.  I'm sure she has some awesome projects to share.  If you get lost on the hop remember I have a list below of all the talented hoppers.

Oh my goodness!! My mom would love a card like that, but says "21 again". When my oldest son was a little boy he would ask my mom how old she was, she'd tell him she was 21. He still says his grandma is 21. Love the card and the pie box.. oh my~ too cute!!! thanks for sharing ~ Pam
