A Great Day!

I had the best day today.  My friend and Stampin'Up! upline Amy came over and we were able to watch the opening session of SU's annual convention from Salt Lake City, Utah.  It wasn't as good as being there in person, but it was the next best thing.  How I wish I could have gone, but it just wasn't in the budget this year.  Stampin'Up! convention is one of my most favorite things to attend.  If you've never been, you just can't imagine the excitement and electricity in the air.  It is really quite the thing.

After watching the live stream for almost 2 hours, we then sat and visited and talked about what they had shared and how much money we are going to need for the Holiday Catalog debuting on August 29.  They showed us just a little and all I can say is WOW!!!!  And that was only a sampling.  I can't wait to see it in person and as a demonstrator we will be able to view it online tomorrow.  I can't wait!

We then perused Pinterest and finally made a card that was inspired by one I had pinned earlier.  We also tried some different things with several sets trying to get new ideas.  Here is the card that we made.

Can you guess what set I used for the background behind the trees?  I'm sure you should know by now.  It's my new most fav set.  Leave a comment here telling me which set it is and I'll do a random drawing with the names of those who guess right and then I will send you this card.

Well thanks for stopping by and listening to me tell about my day.  Don't you just love days that are laid back and spent with a friend?  They don't happen often enough.  Maybe that is what makes them seem so special.  Thanks Amy for spending the day with me.

Blessings,
Renee

My best guess for the background is from the Work of Art stamp set. It is a beautiful card, Renee.
