And speaking of price did you know if you order the kit from me by this Friday, Nov. 21 I will be offering a FREE class to you with two different class dates of Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 3:00 or 7:00 pm or Saturday, Dec. 6 at 10:00 am. A Diet Pepsi Ornament.....

you ask? Ok, maybe you didn't, but I just had to make one of these after seeing it on a blog a week or so ago. I can't remember where or I would give credit where credit was due. It's a wonderful idea. In the process of punching these out it also sharpens your punches. So you are actually accomplishing two things at once. (he-he) I added some of the pretties beads and used the stick pin from the kit as well. Yes, I actually used one of them puppies, believe it or not! So get drinking your DietPepsi or whatever kind of pop you drink and make yourself an original ornament. Even if it's Coke (my Coke friends know who they are and I like 'em just the same) *grin*

Hope you are having a great day!

No stampin' Monday

Hi stampers! Well I'm back from Chicago. We had a great time and I'll have some pics in a couple of days--have to get them from my sister. I just got home from taking Brookie to Baker College today. She has now officially applied and will be attending Baker come Sept. 2009. Yes, my baby will be in college next year. As we were driving home I was thinking it just didn't seem that long ago that I was driving her to and from pre-school. Time has gone so fast. "Oh mom, don't start to cry. I have to grow up." Yep those are the words of my baby. As a mom you know all those things, but it doesn't mean that you won't be sad about it. Then when we got home we found out that my sister had to have her cat put to sleep today. Stasch was such a good cat and so lovable. We'll miss you Staschie. So with all that being said, I feel a little sad today and don't have any stamping to share with you. Yes there are some days I just don't feel like stamping. Gasp! Thanks for your understanding. I'll try and be back tomorrow.

Blessings,
Renee

A Lighted Gift

Hi stampers, as this is being posted I am in Chicago with my sisters for a girls get-a-way. Carin's church is taking a chartered bus for an over night shopping trip to the windy city. We've never been so we are looking forward to a great time. I'm sure I'll have lots to share when we get back.
This little box is really too stinkin' cute IRL. I discovered this at the $ General although it looked nothing like this when I bought it. It had some plastic red ribbon that was a little flat and the sides were just plain. I went to work and added some rub-ons and some Riding Hood Red ribbon. This little puppy lights up and really is too cute and the best part is it was only a dollar.
Hope you are having a great day!

Christmas Treats

I have to say that I had so much fun creating this cute little box. Don't you just love it? Again I say there is just something about that Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette together. I think it feels sort of vintage Christmas maybe? Not sure, but I know I like it. This is one of the items we'll be making at my Christmas Gifts class. Wanna come? Look for details soon.

I've got to run. I just found out I need to go help my dad at the hunting lodge. Glad this is the last of it. I'll be back later with more I need to share before I head to Chicago early tomorrow morning.

Blessings,
Renee
