Can't stop with the Glimmer Paper

Seems like I just can't stop with the glimmer paper right now.  As I've said before I just love the bling and I think this Silver Glimmer paper fits the bill and is great when you are working with snowflakes.  I want to show you a way to say some of your precious paper when you are using it.  I just hate to cover up so much of the Glimmer paper when I want to layer it before something so this is what I did.

I cut a rectangle out of the Glimmer paper by leaving a 1/2 inch  all the way around.  This is so easy to do with our awesome Stampin'Up! paper cutter.  The measurements are easy to read making this and easy peasy thing to do.  Now I have that center piece to use for something else.  I will give you a tip and tell you the best adhesive to use with the Glimmer paper when attaching layers to it is the Mini glue dots.  I put one on each corner of the paper and also a couple on the long sides.  Those glue dots really adhere well.

I added rhinestones to the snowflake.  It is wonderful that we can have snowflakes so intricately cut using the Snow Flurry Framelit dies.  I'm telling you that you need to get this bundle.  It will be a good investment for years to come.  I used the Labels Framlits to cut out the piece of Island Indigo cardstock with the beautiful Noel words that are stamped in Silver Encore Ink.  The ribbon is the new silver 1/8" ribbon from the Holiday catalog.  The DSP is from the Winter Frost stack.  I inked up the snowflake stamp and stamped off on scratch paper and then stamped again on the DSP to kind of bring it all together.

Well thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this card.
Blessings,
Renee

OH THANK GOD! I have been trying to figure out a way to attach paper to the Glimmer paper in the best way possible to no avail! Sometimes tape works and other time it does not. Hot glue doesn't seem to work either and now I can't wait to try the glue dots!!!

THANK YOU!
