You are So Kind Butterfly

It's Friday and my second post this week.  Do you ever just feel like sometimes you are in slow motion?  That's the way I've been lately.  I feel like I'm doing the bare minimum every day, but I guess that is ok or at least I'm going to give myself the space for it to be ok.  I'm doing a Bible study right now that is titled Breathe, Making Room for Sabbath and it's a real eye opener that it's ok to not be busy and just to be.  That is something that is tough for a type A person like myself.  We are all a work in progress, right?

I've got another butterfly card for you today, but it's totally different than yesterday's.  This one uses bright colors and the smaller butterfly from the Watercolor Wings stamp set.

I used the stamp set Watercolor Wings and Bold Butterfly Framelits.  The colors are Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral and Whisper White.  The words are punched out using the Washi Tape punch.  You can find all the items to make this card and so much more on my website www.reneeond.stampinup.net

Watercolor Wings

Well I finally received my order today and had a little time to try out some new products.  I've been extremely anxious to get back to some sort of stamping routine.  It's taking a little more time than I thought it would.  Sometimes those things happen, but rested assured I'm not going anywhere.

Here is the card that I came up with.  I used the stamp set Watercolor Wings and the new Bold Butterfly Framelits.  I also used the Butterflies Thinlits as well.  The DSP is the new beautiful Timeless Elegance paper.  This paper is gorgeous!  It might be hard to see in the picture, but the black background is embossed with a new embossing folder called Fluttering.  This embossing folder is 6" x 6" so that is a little bigger than our regular folders.  All these products have so many possibilities and I hope to be sharing them with you in the weeks and months ahead.

I thought I'd share with you what it looked like here after I opened the box.  Sabby immediately crawled into the box before I barely had it open.  He then twirled around a little and turned to the adding machine as if to say, "I'm going to add this up and I'm telling daddy".  LOL!  #SabbyRules
Don't forget about the Mystery Hostess party going on until Monday, June 29.  Remember to use the hostess code YGVUGS3C to be eligible for the drawing.  Visit my site HERE to order.  You will notice that the site has a new look.  If you have difficulties navigating the store, please contact me and I'll help you out.

Blessings,
Renee

Getting back on track

Hey there! I know I've been MIA the last few weeks. With my sister getting married, my daughter moving and some health issues, I've had other things occupying my time and my mind. Since I wasn't able to get a class or a party in this month, I thought I'd do a mystery hostess. Here's how it will work. You can go to my website www.reneeond.stampinup.net and place your order. You must use the HOSTESS CODE YGVUGS3C when you place your order. After you have placed your order be sure and message me to let me know that you have done so. I will put your name in the drawing for hostess benefits. Everyone who places an order will receive at the bare minimum a card from me for placing an order. If you are local would rather place your order with me direct please feel free to contact me that way as well. I will be closing this event on Monday, June 29 at 9:00 pm. I will then contact the mystery hostess and will place the order on Tuesday, June 30. If you haven't received a new catalog yet, please contact me to make arrangements to pick one up.

Be sure and check out the weekly specials.  There are some really great ones this week.  You can view them from my website by clicking on the weekly deals.  Be sure and check out the clearance rack as well.

Be looking for my class schedules and exciting projects coming soon.  Thanks for your patience with me during this busy time in my life.  I look forward to stamping with you soon.

Blessings,
Renee

PS.  Would love to book a party for you.  I have lots of dates open.  It's a great way to get some of the things you want for free.  Contact me today!

Renee

Happy Birthday Cone

Wow!  I just realized that I haven't posted since last Tuesday.  I guess I've got a little bit going on these days.  My sister's wedding is this Saturday so a lot of time has been in the planning and prepping for that.  We finished the table favors yesterday and I still have a banner that needs to be finished.  My aunt, uncle and cousin are coming from California for the big event and my cousin will be staying with us so as you can expect, I've been doing a little extra cleaning here and there.  Not that she will expect that, but it's just the way I am.  On top of all this my fibro has been rearing it's ugly head at times and I simply must rest.  I'm finally getting smarter in that area and realizing when my body says to rest, that I need to rest.

I have a project that I haven't taken the time to share with you.  It once again uses the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.

I've used a strip of the A Cherry on Top DSP down the center of it and I cut an oval with the Oval Framelits and embossed it with the Decorative Dots embossing folder.  I thought it still needed something so I added half of a doily to it and then the Happy Birthday words punched with then Word Window punch.  Colors used are Watermelon Wonder, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla.  The cone was stamped in Crumb Cake and the ice cream scoops are Chocolate Chip, Watermelon Wonder and Pink Pirouette.

Blessings,
Renee

A New Day

Well today has been quite the emotional day for this momma.  Today is my beautiful daughter Lindsay's 26th birthday and it is the first birthday of hers that we will have spent apart.  As most of you know, Lindsay moved three hours away and took a new job.  I'm happy for her and all that is ahead of her, but I sure do miss her and it's been especially hard to be away from her on her birthday.  As I was getting ready this morning to head to the health fair at our local hospital is reminded me that 26 years ago this morning I was headed to that very hospital to give birth to my first born.  Who would have thought where we would be all these years later.  She is a strong, confident, smart, young woman and we are so very proud of her.

I can tell you that I love being a mom and enjoy my girls very much.  They bring so much joy to my life each and every day.  I am very blessed, but I am also so very grateful, which leads into my project for today.

I made a gift bag using our new Stampin'Up! bag punch board.  I'm just getting to using this fun new product, but I think it is going to be great.

This little bag measures 4-3/4" tall by 2-3/4" wide  This would be a small size.  You can make a small, medium and large and the height can vary from 4" to 12".  I'm sure this little tool can do so much more and it's going to be fun discovering all that can be done with it. The Gift Bag Punch Board item number is 135862 and sells for $20.

I used the You've Got This stamp set and colored in the flower using Blender Pens and ink pads.  The colors are  Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush.  The bag itself was made using Mint Macaron.  I added a little strip of the Cherry on Top DSP and a piece of White 1-1/4" Jute Ribbon and one of our paper doilies.  The bag handles are the 1" Dotted Lace Trim also in the Mint Macaron.

Well I guess I've rambled enough for this afternoon.  Thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
Renee
