Fresh Vintage Thank You

Hi my stamping friends.  Well it's Tuesday!  Have you had a good day?  Mine has gone pretty well.  I had Bible study this morning with some wonderful ladies and then had lunch with my good friend Vicki.  Tuesday has sort of become my "day out."  Last Tuesday a sweet lady from our Bible study invited me to her house for lunch and then a knitting lesson.  Yes, one of my goals this year is to learn how to knit.  I've crocheted for years, but haven't learned how to knit.  We had a lovely time visiting and getting to know one another and she showed me the basics of knitting.  I'm doing it, but not sure how well I'm doing it.  We shall see if I finish this scarf I'm working on and I'm not embarrassed to wear it.  LOL!

Anyway I wanted to make this lady a thank you for inviting me over and teaching me the basics of knitting and this is the card I came up with.
Here's what I used:
Stamp Set: Fresh Vintage (SAB) and Kindness Matters (regular catalog and also a SAB choice right now)
Paper: Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB)
Accessories: Labels Collection Big Shot Dies, Vintage Embossing Folder, Lucky Limeade 3/8" ruffled ribbon, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots.

Thanks for stopping by!
Blessings,
Renee

Mixed Bunch

Happy Friday!  I'm back with another card that my friend Amy and I made last week.  It's using the new set from the Occasions Mini Catalog called Mixed Bunch and it has a matching punch to punch the flowers out.  No cutting here!

Mixed Bunch - Clear-Mount StampBlossom Punch

I used some of the Everyday Enchantment DSP on this card along with the 1/8" organdy ribbon and 3/8" printed designer brads from the SAB catalog.  For a $50 order you would get to choose the Everyday Enchantment DSP or the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack (that's 2 spools of organdy ribbon in Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral and 30 printed designer brads)

The words are from the set Oval All.

Oval All Stamp Set - by Stampin' Up!You can order any of these items from my Stampin' Store or directly through me.  I will be placing a January order on Tuesday, January 31 if you would like to place an order.

Blessings

Apothecary Art Case

Are you surprised I'm back again today?  I've heard from several of you that you have missed my blog posts and I can't begin to tell you how happy that makes me.  I'm glad to know that I've been missed. :).  Well today I want to share another card with you that my friend Amy and I made.  This one was cased from Marie at MarieStamps.  Thanks Marie for the great idea.
I just love everything about this card.  The DSP, the ribbon, the Framelits and Edgelits, Embossing Folder.  I know it probably looks like a lot of work, but really it wasn't.  It was all done using Stampin'Up's new tools in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  And yes these Framelits and Edgelits will work in any die cutting machine, but the designs are exclusive to Stampin'Up!.  Here is what I used to make this card.

Stamp Set: Apothecary Art, Loving Thoughts
Paper:  Blush Blossom, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Twitterpated DSP
Tools:  Labels Collection Framelit Dies, Edgelits Dies, Adorning Accents Embossing Folder  (you can find these on pages 6 & 7 of the Occasions Mini Catalog)  Big Shot
Other:  3/8" Baja Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon, Stampin' Write Markers and Blender Pens

You can purchase all these items directly through my Stampin'Up! website or I can order them for you.  And don't forget with a $50 order you will receive something FREE from the Sale-a-bration catalog as well.

Hope you've enjoyed this card as much as I did making it.

Blessings,
Renee

Sale-a-bration 2012

Sale-a-bration 2012 has begun and I'm so excited and I know you will be too.  So many beautiful things to choose from this year during Sale-a-bration.  If you haven't received a SAB brochure in the mail and would like one please let me know.  You can also view the SAB catalog by clicking on the picture on the left.  What is SAB you ask?  When you purchase $50 before tax and shipping you get to choose an item from the SAB catalog.  There are quite the variety of items to choose from this year, from stamp sets to DSP to brads and ribbons.  Something for everyone and there is no limit.  It's for every $50 you spend.  There's even a special deal for hostesses.  SAB is a great time to host a workshop.

I know it's been some time since I've posted so let me say I'm sorry to those who are my faithful followers.  Life has just taken a few twists and turns the last while and I haven't been very good at managing my time.  Yes, I will admit it, but they say that's the first step in changing it, right?  I'm ready to kick it into gear with our new Occasions Mini Catalog and the SAB catalog.  Last week my friend and upline Amy and I got together to do a little stamping and that has inspired me.  Here is one of the cards we created.
I used the SAB set Elementary Elegance and also the SAB DSP Everyday Enchantment.  These can be received for free with a $50 order during SAB.  I added a Big Shot Beautiful Wings Embosslit butterfly to the card as well.  The center of the main stamp image is the perfect shape for our Curly Label Punch.  Isn't that cool?

Well I've enjoyed catching up with you and I hope you've enjoyed your visit.
Blessings,
Renee
