It's Renee Eve

Yes, it is that time....Renee Eve.  Well at least that is what my family calls it.  As most of you know I love to celebrate my birthday and I have a wonderful family who does so much for me on my birthday because they know I love to celebrate it.  Maybe because growing up it was always the first family thing that happened after Christmas and the start of Spring.  Whatever the reason, I do love to celebrate.  Thanks to all those who indulge me. ;)

I wanted to share with you today the scrapbook pages that my good friend Vicki made when we were at the scrapbook retreat several weeks ago.  She used the SAB DSP on them and I thought they turned out so nice.  The DSP is adorable and you have until tomorrow to place an order to get it for FREE and then it will be gone forever.  :(  So hurry and place your order of $50 and this paper can be free to you.  If you would like to get in on my Mystery Hostess 50th Birthday promo and place an order and use the hostess code   ZKYT2NKY you will be entered into the drawing to receive hostess rewards.  So there is still time.

Thanks for stopping by.

SAB Time is Running Out

Sale-a-bration time is quickly coming to an end.  March 22, 2013 to be exact.  So you still have time to order.  You won't want to miss out on these exclusive products only available during SAB.  You can order from my website or directly through me and right now I am doing a mystery hostess event through Friday, March 22.  If you order on my website and use the HOSTESS CODE ZKYT2NKY you will be entered into a drawing for every $50 you order and could win the hostess benefits.  You can also call me with your order as well if you are local and would rather do that.  So far there is $200 in sales so not only will I draw one name for the hostess benefits, but now it qualifies for the Silver Glimmer paper 25th Anniversary promo so I will draw an additional person to receive that as well.  If we reach $400 I will draw another for the SAB bundle reward as well.
Below is a card I made using the beautiful Sycamore Street DSP, Vine Street Embossing Folder, Sycamore Street Ribbon and Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set (words).  These are all SAB freebies for every $50 purchased before tax and shipping.
The stamp set used is Papillon Potpourri and was stamped with Tangerine Tango, Pool Party and Summer Starfruit.  The butterflies were punched out with the large and small butterfly punches.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and don't miss out on SAB or the chance to win the hostess rewards, but you must enter the code when placing your online order to qualify.

Scrapbooking Retreat Make and Takes

I thought I'd share with you today the make and takes I did at the Bay Shore scrapbooking retreat a couple of weeks ago.  These were pretty simple and straight forward cards, but that is what is good for the retreat since people like to do make and takes, but they want to put most of their time into their scrapbooking.

Of course all items used are Stampin'Up! and can be ordered in my stampin' store HERE.  The embossing folder used on the second card is one you can only get now for FREE by placing a $50 order during Sale-a-bration.  Hurry though!  SAB ends next Friday, March 22.  Yes, the most wonderful day of the year.  Well really the most wonderful day of the last half 50th birthday.  *giggle*  If you have any questions about what was used please feel free to contact me at  Thanks for stopping by.

What a Week.................

I've had quite the week physically with my fibromyalgia and haven't even been up to creating much of anything so you know it's been bad.  I keep struggling with it and I'm determined that it's not going to get the best of me.  If you are so inclined I sure would appreciate a prayer or two that I'd start to feel better.  For those of you who don't know much about it, it is something that can flare up and get really bad for a time and sometimes it's not so bad.  I know I don't have it as bad as others and for that I'm thankful, but this week has been tough and I pray that next week will be better.

Anyway enough of my whinning.  Onto some creativity.  This morning I came down to my office and really wanted to try a project that I had found on Pintrest.  Feel free to follow me on Pintrest under   This was a lot of fun to make.

I used the Dress framelits for this cute project.  The dress part is the Cherry Cobbler tuelle that was available in the Holiday catalog and of course I've hoarded it and it's a good thing I did, huh?  LOL!  I took the heat tool to it to get it to curl.  You can watch a YouTube video HERE to see how this is made.  My thread spool was quite tiny and didn't want to stand very well so I glued it to a little wooden block that I had in my stash of stuff and I dressed it up by gluing on some DSP and then some of the new little flowers in the Spring catalog.  This project didn't take much time at all to create.
Hope you enjoyed it!

First Page Ever!

Hey everyone!  How are things?  I've been pretty busy the last couple of weeks.  I went to a scrapbooking retreat last weekend to work on some of my own scrapbooking.  I  know, a novel concept, right?  Seems like I don't take the time to do it unless I go away to do it.  Right now I am at a scrapbooking retreat where I am the Stampin'Up! vendor for the weekend.  I'm teaching classes and answering questions and of course selling our awesome Stampin'Up! products.  This wont' be a long post, but I wanted to share this picture with you of my friend Kris who is here this weekend and is scrapbooking for the first time.

Here she is with her first completed page.  Didn't she do an awesome job?  She used the Morning Post alphabet to complete her page. I just love her, her page and her sweet smile.  Congratulations Kris!
I'll try and post more later this weekend if I get a chance.  Thanks for stopping by.
