Create for Christmas Class

The date has been set.  My annual Create for Christmas class will be held on Tuesday, December 8 at 6:00 p.m.  There will be limited space available so register early.  This class will include items that can be used for yourself or for gift giving.  Price of class is $30 and includes everything you will need to make the projects.  You will need to bring your own adhesives such as tape runners or glue and a pair of scissors.  I will provide specialty adhesives.  It also may be helpful to bring a bone folder and a paper cutter if you have one.  Please mark all your supplies with your name.

You can email me at ibecakes@yahoo.com or text me at (989) 551-1685 to RSVP.  Checks can be mailed to 1685 S Brown Rd.  Please let me know if you have mailed it so that I can be looking for it in the mail.  If you RSVP and then can't make it you will be given all the necessary supplies to complete the projects minus the stamp sets of course.  I need to have an exact count by Wednesday, November 28th.  Paying ahead insures your spot is reserved.  I know I've been a little lax in this area and it puts undo stress on me so I would really appreciate if you would send in your class fee ASAP.  This really helps me in getting everything planned, purchased and prepared for the class so that I can make it a fun night.  Remember space will be limited.

Blessings,
Renee

Holiday Retiring List and Some Catching Up

Well the retiring list for the Holiday catalog is out.  Remember these are while supplies last for all accessories and the stamp sets will be until December 28, but don't delay.  You will want to get your favorites before they are gone.  You can find the list in the link below.

2015 Holiday Catalog Retiring List

I'm going to do a little catching up today with some of the things I've made in the last month or so and haven't had time to post, so here goes.

This is a checkbook cover that I made for my daughter.  She loved that awesome vellum paper stack and wanted me to use it to make this.

I had the idea that I wanted the little owl to be peeking from the window framelit and this is what I came up with.  Brooke (my daughter) helped with the shade idea.  Cute huh?

This is a latch card.  The cupcake is what is keeping this card closed.

This is a card using the Cherry on Top Cotten paper from the main catalog.  It is a fun and easy to use paper.  I will list the items I used on these cards below.  Please forgive me if I miss something, but feel free to ask if you need more info.

Blessings and thanks for stopping by!
Renee

OSAT Blog Hop - Holidays

Wow stamping friends!  It's time for another hop.  I really am enjoying doing these.  I hope you like what I've come up with this month. This month's theme is "the holidays".  I just received my Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies last week because they had been on back order because of their popularity, so I decided I wanted to play with them.

I used a brayer to make the background on this card.  That is a technique that I'm not real good at, but I think it came out pretty good.

The white glimmer paper adds that bit of sparkle and then to top it off I added a large iced rhinestone and a couple of regular rhinestones where I had used the new trio corner punch.

My 3D item this month is this cute snowman hat.  The measurements for this hat are a 8" x 4" piece of black and scored on the long side at 1".  I then cut up to that line and pushed the tabs in to make the bottom of the hat.  The tabs are quite long enough to seal the bottom so I used a 2-1/2" punch to cover the tabs and then added another on the inside for more stability.  The brim of the hat is a 4" circle.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and visit the next stop on the hop.  It's the fabulous Megan Thompson

And should you get lost on the hop, here are everyone's posts.  You can start anywhere and it will take you completely around the hop.  Enjoy!
