OSAT Blog Hop Happiness Is
Welcome to the OSAT January Blog Hop titled Happiness Is! We haven't hopped since November and I bet you have missed us. I've missed hopping so lets get started. I chose to use my favorite stamp set from the new mini catalog.......Happy Hedgehogs.
Hedgehogs certainly bring me happiness. I love hedgehogs as most of you know if you've followed my blog for anytime and this new set is no exception. While I didn't use the punch on my projects I love that there is a matching punch for this set. I used my new favorite dies Picture This to make my card. This is a fun die set to use on lots of projects. Here's just a little tip on using this die and getting your images to line up. I use a pencil to lightly draw the circles on the piece that I am stamping my images on, I can then stamp and be sure that I'm not stamping in my other circles or I can use a circle mask to make sure I don't stamp in those spaces. I colored images in using my favorite form of coloring, our Stampin' Blends. I've listed the colors below. The new brass butterflies in the mini catalog are so cute and they go perfectly with this set as well.
I decided for my 3D project I would do a wine bottle tag. Not that wine brings happiness, but getting a gift of wine is a treat for my hubby and I as we aren't really drinkers and a good bottle of wine is a treat, especially if you know the kind of wine a person likes. I used the bird from the same set and the papers and embellishments are the same as well. The only thing that I used from another set is the words on the tag. They are from the new set Eden's Garden.
