Pretty Proud

Well I am proud for a couple reasons today.  The first is that I've been getting my posts ready ahead of time and scheduling them to post for the next day.  That in and of itself is almost a miracle.  LOL!  And the second one is I get to share some beautiful cards that I received this year.  Each one has come from someone who at one time or another has been to one of my parties/classes.  I love to see what others do and I'm so happy when I'm on the receiving end of one of these creations.

Cards were made by: Top Row: Carin Orth (my sister and downline), Vicki Affholter (friend/customer) Bottom Row: Joni Reimann (friend/customer), Pam Bucholtz (friend/customer), Sue Kohl (aunt/friend)  Thanks ladies for sharing not only your Christmas greetings and fine art work, but also your friendship.  That is what is important.  I am so thankful for all the friends I've made through Stampin'Up!  My world would be much smaller if it wasn't for Stampin'Up!

I want to share one more thing with you today.  I had wanted to make some of these, but just never got around to doing so until this week.  I had the candy bought so why not?  Now this is not my own idea.  I got it from fellow demonstrator Brenda Quintana.  She is so talented and she shares so willingly.  She is one of my favorites.  Check out her blog if you get time.

Isn't this adorable?  She even has a video on how to make these.  Very simple to follow and easy to make.  Thanks Brenda!

Well hope you are having a blessed Sunday!
Blessings,
Renee

Brrrr Baby It's Cold Out!!!

It's a cold day here in the Thumb of Michigan as I write this post and doesn't seem like a warm up anytime soon.  I needed to make some thank you cards so I thought I'd use the Wonderful Winterland stamp set that is soon to not be available after Jan 2.  If you want this adorable winter set you better hurry to get your order in.

Here's what was used:
Stamp Set: Wonderful Winterland, Fabulous Phrases
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Ink: Black Stazon, Stampin'Write Markers--Pool Party, Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue, Pink Pirouette, Blush Blossom
Other: Perfect Polka Dots and Chevron Embossing Folders, Delicate Doilies Lg Sizzlet, Wild Wasabi Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dazzling Details

Here you can see that I added Dazzling Details to the brim of the hat and also the pom pom on top.  I will be sad when this set is no longer available for purchase, but I will still keep it in my collection for my own personal use.

Hope you enjoyed my project and thanks for stopping by.
Blessings,
Renee

Sycamore Street DSP Wreath

I had mentioned yesterday that I would be sharing a SAB project today and here it is.  It's a wreath made using the new Sycamore Street DSP paper from the SAB brochure.  You can receive this package of 12 sheets of double sided designer paper for FREE with a $50 order starting January 22, 2013.  The colors in this paper is Island Indigo, Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, Sahara Sand, Summer Starfruit, Tangerine Tango and Whisper White.  When I saw this paper in the SAB brochure I wasn't overly excited, but decided to get it when demos had the chance for pre-order SAB benefits.  Once I opened it today though I was glad I had gotten it.  It's lovely paper and the colors are beautiful.  This wreath is for someone special, but I can't tell you who just yet.  I want her to receive it before I say anything more.

And just so I can get some other cards cleared up out of my cards to post I will add a couple more here today.  These were some thank you cards I had sent out in November.

Hope you've enjoyed these and if you have any questions please feel free to post a comment here and I'd be more than happy to answer them. Also don't forget to check out the Clearance Rack.  New items have been posted.  Lots of great deals.  You can shop 24/7 from my website.

Christmas Gift

Each year when someone asks my sister Michele what she wants for Christmas, she always says she just wants Peace and Harmony.  Well this year she got her wish.  This is what I made for her.

I used the Patio Party DSP and punched out the butterflies with the Elegant Butterfly punch and added some bling with the Adhesive Backed Rhinestones.  The letters were cut out of Summer Starfruit cardstock and I used a retired SU Big Shot alphabet.  The ribbon is Primrose Petals Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I purchased the frame from Walmart.  This was quite easy to do and I thought it turned out pretty cute.

Look for a project tomorrow made from a SALE-A-BRATION item.  Yes, SAB will start on January 22, 2013 and run through the most wonderful day of the year March 22, 2013.  Can you figure out why it is wonderful?  Leave me a comment to tell me why and I'll send you a little surprise in the mail.  Don't forget to contact me to book your SAB workshop.  Host it either at your home or mine.  SAB is a great time to host a Stampin'Up! party.

Blessings,
Renee

Merry Christmas!

And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.  Luke 2:16

That precious gift that was given to us so long ago is still the best gift we will ever receive because through that gift we were given the gift of salvation.  If you think about it, we never would have had an Easter without having Christmas.  So may you enjoy the season of remembering his birth and rejoice in the salvation it brought.  If you've never accepted that precious gift of His salvation may you do so this Christmas season.

From my family to yours, may we wish you the most Very Blessed and Merriest Christmas ever!

Christmas Blessings,
The Ondrajkas

Lots to Share...........

Lots to share today so I'll try not to do a lot of rambling and get to it.
This is a beautiful card I received from fellow demonstrator Charlotte Coombes.  It was so unexpected and a wonderful surprise to receive in the mail.  Thanks Charlotte!

Here is a little gift I gave my hairdresser.  My hairdresser is my sister, but I still like to give her a little something for being my hairdresser.  I found this cute little bucket in the $ section of Target and filled it with my homemade peanut butter balls, on of her favorites.

Here are some cookies I made for one of my cookie customers.

Here is an assortment of the 28 dozen cut out cookies I made this year.  I know they look like a lot of work and they are to some extent, but I love doing them.

And lastly here are the rest of the Christmases past displays.  Well I need to go and get my house cleaned and I've got a last minute gift I need to get made by tomorrow.  Have a wonderful Christmas Eve and I'll have a post tomorrow to share with you as well so check back.

Blessings,
Renee

Christmases Past

As I write this tonight,  I just finished watching the CBS National News and the piece they did about Jayden Lamb, the little boy from Midland, Michigan who passed away recently from cancer at 9 years old.  Jayden touched so many lives and is still touching lives with the "pay it forward" attitude his parents started by paying for someones bill behind them in a drive-thru shortly after Jayden got his angel wings.  Our local news has had much about this story and has followed Jayden and his family through his journey  I've been so touched by this story and have even had the chance to pay it forward myself by trying to be a blessing to a family in need.  I know friends and family as well who have done this recently.  I challenge you my blog readers to do the same.  Give it a try.  Even something small in the name of paying it forward.  I guarantee you will be blessed.

Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.  Matthew 25:40

So many people are hurting.  If you have the ability to make someones day a little bit brighter, a little bit happier or put a smile on their face I encourage you to do so.

Now onto some things I've made from Christmases past and that I have displayed in my house this Christmas.  I hope you enjoy them and maybe you'll even remember some of these.  Most things are made from now retired things.

Blessings,

Renee

Wow!

The baking is done and it's still 5 days until Christmas.  I'm pretty proud of myself especially with all that has been going on as of late.  I've got a couple of quick cards to share and then I'm off tonight to go get a manicure.  I think my hands deserve one after all the cookie decorating I've done this week.  I'll try and get some pics uploaded of the cut out cookies I did tomorrow, but until then this is my share for today.

This card came to me from my Secret Santa.  Isn't it gorgemous?  I love all the embossing and glitter!  Oh, have I happened to mention I love glitter?  I know only a few times. *Ãœ*  Thanks Secret Santa!
This is a Christmasy Thank You I made for a dear friend awhile back.  Ok, that's it!  I've got to scoot and hopefully I'll be back with more to share tomorrow.

With many blessings to you all,
Renee

Wonderful News!

I just have to share with you all that my daddy received the words "cancer free" today.  We are certainly rejoicing and praising God for this wonderful gift.  My mom is also doing so much better.  They have put her on a small dose of oxygen at night and this has seemed to really help her.  It seems like such a small thing, but it has made a world of difference in her anxiety and panic attacks.  She is thinking so much clearer and has even gotten back to doing some of the things she once did.  I'm just one happy girl today and I'd like to thank those who have prayed for my family this past year.  It's been a tough year, but the Lord has seen us through.

Now to share a couple of crafty things with you.

This is a little treat pouch that my daughter Lindsay and I made for her to give out to her fellow employees at work.  I used some retired cardstock (Ruby Red) and some non SU ribbon from my huge stash of ribbon on these.  Lindsay is not really my crafter girl so it shouldn't have come as a surprise when Lindsay cut both of her thumbs trying to close the ink pad.  How she managed that I'm not quite sure.  I've never known a craft pad to be dangerous, but she said that is why she doesn't craft, because it's dangerous.  LOL!  We made 30 of them and they went really quick with both of us working on them the other night.

Here is a card I made several weeks ago to send to one of my customers.  Love that Cherry Cobbler!

Well that's all for today.  I've got more cookies to frost.  Hope Frank doesn't mind that for dinner.  ;)

Blessings,
Renee

Countdown Begins

Well it's Tuesday and you all know what that means....one week from today it will arrive whether we are ready or not.  I've been so busy this past weekend with cookies.  Here are a few to sample.......

So how did they taste? LOL! Well let me tell you they are yummy.  How do I know?  Well silly, I have to sample before I would let anyone else eat them don't I?

Now for a card share.
This card comes from my Secret Santa.  Who is my Secret Santa?  Well I don't know, that's why it's a secret. *Ãœ*  I joined a Secret Santa demonstrator group this year and it's been really fun to do this.  Each week for 3 weeks we are sending cards and then the last week we will send a handmade gift.  I've been having so much fun making my cards and will share after our reveal what I've made.  It's been hard keeping it a secret and not sharing what I've made.  This card is so sparkly.  I just love all the details using the great old standby Lovely As a Tree.  If you don't own that set, you really need to get it.  I own it in wood, but now you can get it in wood or clear.  If you'd like to order you can do so by visiting my website www.reneeond.stampinup.net and place your order by clicking on the SHOP NOW button.  Oh and don't forget to check out the clearance rack.  Lots of goodies there too!

Well it's back to the cookie mines.  I'm making my cut out cookies today and have half of them baked.  I have a few orders for them so I need to get those done quick like.  I'll share pics of those as well when they have all their pretty frosting on them.

Blessings,
Renee

A Few Christmas Shares

Well how are you all doing with you Christmas prep?  All done?  No, me neither, but it will get there.  I've got several things to share with you today.

First is that Stampin'Up! has updated the Clearance Rack with over 300 items at unbelieveable prices.  You are not going to want to miss out on these so head over to my Stampin'Up! website and click on the SHOP NOW button and then the CLEARANCE RACK to start shopping.  For those that don't know how to order from there you can always call me with your order and I can help you place it on line
Next I'd like to start with an amazing card that I received from one of my customers.  I found this card absolutely stunning and just couldn't wait to share it with you.  So her goes..................

Is this not ever so pretty.  You can even see the shimmer in the picture.  It is absolutely beautiful.  Thanks Julie for such a great card.

Last weekend was the Christmas shop party for the place where my hubby works.  The guys put their own little party on with turkey and ham and then we all provided dishes to pass.  I decided that a Christmas cake was in order.  I haven't made one of these in years, but pulled out my Wilton Christmas tree pan and went to work.  Now the idea of piping all those little leaves on the tree seemed like a good idea when I started out, but half way through I started to wonder what I was thinking, although I liked the final outcome and think it was worth it.  The star on top was made with the now retired large star punch in Daffodil Delight cardstock and covered with Dazzling Diamonds glitter and attached with a toothpick.  I know you thought I was going to say Snail Adhesive now didn't you?  LOL!

And lastly here is a recent card I made to send a special thanks to a friend.

Thanks for stopping by and here's to a great weekend.

Blessings,
Renee

Just stampin' along..........

Hi my stampin' friends!  Have you been doing any stamping lately?  I've been busy with workshops and also getting some of my own stamping done here and there.  I love days where I can just create and not have a dozen other things to accomplish, but that doesn't happen very often.  My daughter Lindsay was in a car accident on Sunday and totaled her car so I have been carless all week.  Thanks to a good friend though I did get out for a bit on Tuesday to have lunch.  Thanks Vicki!

I've got some cards photographed and ready to share with you the next few days and I hope you enjoy them.  All Stampin'Up! products of course and you can purchase any of the items from me or through my demonstrator website.

This one again uses the Evergreen stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Very simple done in neutral colors.  Colors used here are Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.  The words are punched out with the Decorative Label Punch.  It's hard to see in the picture, but I added a little sparkle using Dazzling Details for some snow.

Well back to making and organizing cards.  I'm going to start selling cards at the day spa where my sister works so I need to get stuff ready to set up tonight.

Blessings,
Renee
