July Class Projects

Here are the projects we made last night at class.  My daughter Brooke happened to be here.  She has Tuesday evenings off and comes out to have supper with us and do her laundry.  She stayed and participated in the class.  I was so happy to have her.  With her busy schedule we don't often get to craft together like we did when she was younger.  She took this pic of her projects and posted on Facebook so I thought I'd share.

 Here are the individual projects.
A little gift card hold with a velcro clasp.  The ladies loved the fry box.  They made sure they were all getting the same amount of malted milk balls.  LOL!
This card I cased from fellow Stampin'Up! demonstrator Kay Kalthoff.  It was just too cute.  Thanks Kay!  I found her video on YouTube for this card.
Another great way to use the Work of Art stamp set.  This set is a must have!

This was probably my fav card of the evening.  I just love the retro feel to it.  The Oh Snap! was stamped using a new rotary stamp.  This is so much fun!  You has the alphabet, numbers, &, @, a heart as well.  It has 13 spaces so you can make lots of phrases.  You can find it here in my stampin' store.

Are you on Pinterest?  If you aren't, then you should be.  I love Pinterest and get so much inspiration over there.  Hope on over to Pinterest and follow me.  http://www.pinterest.com/reneeondrajka/

Well that is it for tonight.  I did start this post earlier today, but then a few other things had to be attended to, but I did get it posted and that's the important thing.

Punches, Punches Everywhere!!!

Well it looks like a little catching up is in order here on the blog.  I will admit I've gotten a little lazy here the last week, but I think it was due me since I was extremely busy the month of June with my cake business and also gearing up for my new catalog open house.  Maybe in a future post I will share some of the cakes I've been busy with, but for now here are a few projects I've been working on.

This first one here came about after I had punched out a flower using the New Fun Flower Punch.  I used the negative part of the paper and using a Sponge Dauber I sponged on Calypso Coral ink.  After randomly sponging flowers I used the center from the Beautiful Bunch set and stamped it in Tangerine Tango.  The little flowers are from the same set and stamped in Hello Honey.  The great thing about this punch and stamp set is that they match.  There are 3 big flowers that the punch will punch out.

This one came about because I wanted to try out this new embossing folder, Lovely Lace.  I used a sponge to sponge Hello Honey ink on it after I ran it through the Big Shot.  The butterflies are from the new set called Kinda Eclectic, as are the words.  The ink colors are Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss.  I even colored the Rhinestones using the Rich Razzelberry Blendabilities.  I'm really liking those markers.  I have a card I'll share with you tomorrow that I made using them.  The butterflies were punched out using the Elegant and Bitty Butterfly punches.

This last one here is cased from a card I saw on line.  The swirls are from Everything Eleanor and the splotches are from Work of Art.  I pinned this card and this is my version of it.  I love how Work of Art is so versatile and can work with so many styles.  This really should be a must have on your next order if you don't already own it.  Colors are Hello Honey and Costal Cabana.  The little flowers are from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

Well I guess that is it for now.  Time for supper and then our favorite summer show Rookie Blue.  Anyone else a Rookie Blue fan?   Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,
Renee
