Grateful

Well I hope you enjoyed the blog hop from yesterday.  Missed it?  You can still go back and hop along.  There are some awesome projects on the hop that you won't want to miss.  Now that I've got my first hop under my belt I can't wait until next month.

In the mean time I have post for you today using the same set that was used on the hop.  The Lighthearted Leaves set it my current favorite.  I've always loved all things Fall and this is right up my ally.

Here is what I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Blessings,
Renee

OSAT Blog Hop-Designers Choice

Well I'm happy to say that I'm participating in my first ever blog hop.  I was asked by a friend I met online if I would participate in her group's blog hop for September and October.   I was actually flattered, but scared at the same time.  I see so many blog hops done by so many different groups and I've always wondered how one got to participate, so you can imagine my excitement when I was asked.  The gal that asked me was equally excited to have me and said she's been following my blog.  Thanks so much Andrea Tucker for the invite.  I hope I don't disappoint you.

I hope you all will follow the hop and I'm sure you will find some great inspiration.  I used some things out of the new Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog for my projects.

I don't know about you, but I love candles.  I always end up with lots of jars that I just can't throw away so I thought I'd show you something that I like to do with them.  I love to recycle and this project is just that. I'm always sure to clean the jar well and make sure there is no smell from the candle to cross over to the candy.  I've put some Kraft caramels in this jar.  Wouldn't this make a great gift for someone?  The DSP I wrapped around the jar was cut 3" x 12" and it was just the right size.  I used some of the Tear and Tape to adhere it.

I used Crystal Effects to glue a 2-1/2" circle of DSP inside the top.

Here is a matching card.  I love this new set from the Holiday catalog.  It's called Lighthearted Leaves and the great thing is, is that you can use the Leaflets Framelits to cut this set out.  I embossed the leaves in Gold Embossing Powder on Mossy Meadow cardstock.  The Rhinestones were colored using a Sharpie marker.  I used Dimensionals under the leaves to keep their dimension and not go flat.

Thanks so much for visiting and hopping along on my first blog hop.  Be sure to click the next button to find more great projects.

Blessings,
Renee
