A Card and a Reward

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!  Are you ready?  I'm not quite yet, but I will be.  We are hosting dinner here, but everyone brings something so I don't have to make it all, which is really nice.  Well I wanted to take the time to share a card with you and then I have a little challenge reward.  First the card.

Isn't this chubby little snowman the cutest?  I got the idea from fellow demo Lisa Curcio.  She even made a video showing how he is made.  I changed my colors and embellies some to make it my own, but it was her idea.  I really admire those who come up with the cute punch ideas.

NOW YOU WANT TO PAY ATTENTION NOW!!!!!

I am very close to reaching a goal that Stampin'Up! gave to us for the month of November and I really would like to reach it, but I need a little help.  So here is what I'm going to do.  The first two people who place a $50 order in my online store before Sunday will receive one of these two items.  The first one is the set of Framelits called Wonderful Wreath. (Note there is a matching stamp set for these framlits.  Item#135047 for $25.95, but is not included)  These framlits are valued at $24.95.

The second item is a clear mount stamp set called Good Greetings.  This is a set that was only available to hostesses during October if they had a $400 party.  I would say this set is probably in the $20-$25 range.

The first person to place a $50 order gets first choice.  If you are local to me I will get your reward to you.  If you aren't local I will send in the mail as soon as your order is received.  If you are local and would like to call me with your order that qualifies as well.  So who is going to be first?  This is an awesome deal so don't delay.  Remember it has to be placed by Sunday to count for this offer.  You can place your $50 order before tax and shipping right here. www.reneeond.stampinup.net

As always thanks for stopping by!

Create for Christmas Part 2

Today I thought I'd share the other projects we made at my Create for Christmas class.  These projects were inspired by others I'd seen either on line or in the Holiday Catalog.

This little wreath was made using three stamped and cut out wreaths from the Wondrous Wreath and matching framelits.  As I did the second and third layer I cut a slit and overlapped the wreath to make it smaller.  I covered a little battery operated tea light with some Trim the Tree DSP and then added a Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon.  I found the little mirrors at the Dollar Tree and thought that the wreath looked cute sitting on top.

Here are the two cards we made and as I said above were my versions of some I had found on line.

Well that's it for today and don't forget that the Holiday Extravaganza is still going on through December 1.

Renee

Create for Christmas

Well how was your Monday?  The weather here is awful.  We are under a wind advisory until 10 pm tonight and the temps are only in the 30's.  Brrr.........I can't believe winter has arrived so early, but there is nothing we can do about that except take the time to stamp when it's too cold to be out and about.

I thought I'd share some of the projects that we made last week at my Create for Christmas class.  This class is always so well attended and the ladies always have such a good time.  I'll share half of them today and then the other half tomorrow.

I found these gold frames at the Dollar Tree and knew exactly what I wanted to do with them.  I used the beautiful stamp set Gentle Peace.  We embossed it in gold on Very Vanilla cardstock.  Very simple, but elegant.  To finish it off we added a self adhesive rhinestone to the star on the outside of the glass.

Here is a little Santa fry box.  We used the Labels Collection framelits for the white at the top.  The Petite Curly Label Punch helps make the Santa belt with a 1/2" circle of black for the middle.  The Russell Stover Carmel Santas were the perfect touch for this project.  If you've never had them may I suggest you get yourself a bag or two or three.  They are yummy!
This is a little wrap that was made using the All is Calm DSP.  Inside are some little chocolate bars.  It measures approximately 2-1/2" wide by 3-1/2" tall.  The belly band made from Silver Foil paper holds the candy bars inside.  I used the scallop tag punch on the end for some detail.  The snowflake is from the Snowflake Card Thinlits dies and is cut out of Silver Glimmer paper.  I added a Vintage Faceted button with a glue dot in the middle.  Glue dots are great for when you are using the glimmer paper.  This idea was inspired by a video I saw on YouTube by fellow demo Dawn Griffith.  Thanks Dawn!

Well that is the projects for today.  In a half hour it will be time for Dancing with the Stars two night finale.  Who would you like see win?  I'm kind of favoring Sadie Robinson, but at this point they are all really good dancers.

Don't forget about the Holiday Extravaganza going on this week.  Items may be limited at those special prices so don't delay.  You can order on my website at www.reneeond.stampinup.net.

As always thanks for stopping by and I appreciate each and everyone of you!
Blessings,
Renee

Guess what?  That's what!  hehe  Stampin'Up! has announced that the Holiday Extravaganza will begin on Monday, November 24 and run through December 1.  This is always an awesome sale and this year is no exception.  You will notice on the flyer that there are also some door buster sales on November 24 and then again on December 1.  All other items are available from the 24th to the 1st.

Just to point out a few:

Seasonal Break, but I'm back!

Well I see it's been October 29th since I posted.  I am so sorry.  I had been doing so well and then well, life happened.  As I've said before, I work a seasonal part-time job during hunting season and I just couldn't keep up with everything and my blogging was one of the things that had to go.  That job is done and now I am back....well sort of.  I really want to get in the swing of things again and hopefully I will.  I have a class tomorrow night and then maybe I can breathe a little.  I do enjoy being busy, but sometimes a break is nice too.

OK, on with the stamping.  I finally was able to use this new framelit card set and matching stamp set today.  The stamp set is Letterpress Winter (135143) $25.95 and comes in photopolymer and the thinlits dies is Snowflake Card thinlits dies. (135855) $32.95  It's a fun flip fold card die.

It felt really good just to create to create, if you know what I mean.  Hopefully I'll be able to make a few more of these.

Here are the weekly deals.  I've already ordered myself that 1/4" handheld punch.  I know I had one at one time, but I think it may have been lost in our house fire.  You can order these items and so much more by visiting my web store right HERE or by contacting me directly.  Whichever works best for you.

How would you like to give the gift of creativity?  Well, guess what?  You can and Stampin'Up! has made it so easy.  Check out this link HERE and then go to MY PAPER PUMPKIN STORE to order.  I would so appreciate if you order as I am trying to reach a sales goal that Stampin'Up! has set from now until December 31 for demos.  If you have any questions I would be more than happy to answer them.  These kits a such a fun surprise to get in the mail so check out the link.  You can purchase from one month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months pre-paid subscriptions.

Well that's it for today.  Take care and I'll see you back here soon!
Blessings,
Renee
