Chocolate!!!!!!!

What would a stamping and scrapbooking event be without chocolate?  Well it would still be fun, but not very sweet. *grin*  I like to make little treats to give to each person who attends the Bay Shore retreat and this is what I made to give to each participant this time.

Here you can see them individually.

I used the new awesome Mixed Bunch stamp set and the Blossom punch from the Occasions mini catalog to make these.  As far as we know now these items will only be available through April 30 so if would like to get this cute stamp set and punch don't wait.  The leaves were made with the Modern Label punch.  I attached the Rolo candies with a mini glue dot.  This idea has been all over the net so I'm not sure who to give credit to for this fab idea, but I happened to find it on Pinterest.  And speaking of Pintrest, I found this idea also......

I took these as my treat to share for the retreat weekend and I have to say all these Peeps were gone by the time I left on Sunday afternoon.  What could be better than a Peep?  A Peep dipped and in chocolate and then dipped in mini M & M's of course!  So easy to make, cute to look at and fun to eat.

Renee

Bay Shore Make and Takes

Hey stampers!  How's life treating you?  I've been very busy the last couple of weeks.  Weekend before last I was a vendor at Bay Shore Scrapbooking Retreat.  If you've visited my blog very often you know that this is a semi annual event that I have been doing for quite a few years now.  I'm not even sure how long it's been, but it's been awhile.  It's a lot of work prepping for this event, but I always have such a great time while I'm there.  This last one seemed especially nice, maybe it was because for the last few I've been not feeling the best, but this time I was feeling great.  Thank you Lord for good health.

I want to share the three cards from the card classes I taught.  Everyone who took the class really enjoyed them and I had fun teaching them.  So here goes................

This card was made using the Lattice Big Shot die.  The versatility of our dies is great!
This one uses the Sale-a-bration stamp set Everyday Elegance.  This set is free with a $50 order through March 31, 2012.

This one uses the Apothacary Art stamp set and the Labels Framelits and the Edgelits dies and the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder.
Thanks for visiting and be sure to check back often.  I will be sharing a few more of the projects from the scrapbooking weekend in the next few days.

Blessings

I'm Back, Yet Again!

Seems no matter how hard I try to post these days, things just keep getting in the way.  As mentioned before I try and help my aging and ailing aunt and uncle as much as I can and well lately it just seems to be very overwhelming and almost more than I can do some days.  I don't say that so you can feel sorry for me, but just to let you know what has been occupying a lot of my time.  When I'm not dealing with those issues I just feel like doing nothing because I feel so mentally and emotionally exhausted.  I hope you understand.  Speaking of this subject, I just got yet another phone call from my aunt, but I am bound and determined to share with you today so without further ramblings.......................

Here is a couple of the pages I completed at a scrapbooking retreat a couple of weeks ago.  I was excited to use the new Framelits Big Shot dies for my scrapbooking and I love how this page turned out.  The DSP is a retired one, but everything else is current.  The flowers are SU's Paper Daisies (119243 Paper Daisies 40 count for $6.95)  These flowers can be used just plain white or you can choose to color them with markers, watercolor crayons, watercolor pencils, ink refills, etc...to fit your project.  Here I used a Sponge Dauber and a Pretty in Pink Ink Pad to color mine.  I added a Basic Rhinestone (119246 Basic Rhinestone 150 count) in the centers.

Here is a close up for you........

I used 3 different sizes of the Framelits to cut the picture and then mat it.  And don't think I wasted any cardstock.  With the left over piece from the black I used it here......
I rounded the corners and used it as an additional mat.  Cool huh?  These are pictures of our oldest daughter Lindsay.  She was such a delight as a baby and is still today although now when she's sleepy she sleeps in her bed and she's not nearly as messy when she eats.  LOL!

Don't forget that Stampin'Up's Sale-a-bration is still going on.  Place a $50 order before tax and shipping and receive a FREE Sale-a-bration item and remember that is for every $50 ordered.  You can place orders directly through my Stampin'Up! store 24/7 or through me directly.

There I did it.  I got this posted inspite of the interruptions.  Have a wonderful Friday and a spectacular weekend.

Blessings,
Renee
