Boxes Galore!

Well, how is your week going?  Mine's not going too bad, but it could be better.  The weather has been kind of fickle and that really bothers my fibromyalgia so I've been a little uncomfortable the last couple of days.  Hopefully better days are ahead.

What I wanted to share with you today is some of the little gift boxes I made last month.

These boxes are really fun and easy to make.  Would you like to learn how to make them?  Contact me and we can set up a time for you to stop by and I'd be glad to take a few minutes to make one with you.

Don't forget to stop by my website HERE and you can view this weeks Weekly Deals and also the July DSP special of buy 3 get 1 free.

Thanks for stopping by.

Graduation Gift

Hey there!  I hope you are enjoying your Saturday.  It is beautiful weather here today.  We are headed to a graduation party here shortly, but I wanted to get a post in for today.  This is a little frame that I whipped up for a grad gift.

I used some of my new goodies to make this.  The new stamp Blended Bloom and then I used the new Blendabilitie markers.  These markers will be available soon.  Hopefully by mid-summer.  This was a first attempt, but I don't think I did too bad.  These are an alcohol based marker.  You can even color the rhinestones and it remain permanent.  How cool is that?  Rhinestones, pearls and even the crystal buttons can be colored.

Here is the card that I'm putting some cash in to go with the gift.  The words are from a retired set, but it's a set I will keep because I think it is perfect for graduation cards.  I used Island Indigo and Coastal Cabana.  I used the same stamp to make the background on the card as well.

Well it's almost time to leave so I better get scooting along.
Blessings

Excitement Abounds Everywhere

I absolutely enjoy this time of year.  I love all the preparing for the holidays.  I love going into stores and hearing Christmas music and seeing all the decor available for purchase, what's new for decorating your tree, getting ready for Stampin'Up! parties, friends and family gatherings.  Should I go on?

To catch you up a little....my stamp room is put back together.  I am so stinkin' happy you can't believe it.  I've purged, pitched, sold and gave away tons of stuff and I still have a few things that I would like to sell, but I am organized.  Did you know there are actually counter tops in my room?  And that you can actually find a place to make a project?  I know hard to believe.  My room wasn't even this organized after we move back in after the fire.  My hubby did a great job at getting the flooring down and the mop boards on.  It actually didn't take very long once it was started.  I am so content to come down here now and tomorrow shall be my first full day of stamping in quite some time.  I've also finished up my seasonal job cooking at a private hunting club so that has freed up some time as well.  Life is good right now.  My family members all are doing well and are feeling well.  My mom is doing exceptionally well and for that I am so thankful.  When I look back to where we were a year ago with her, it amazes me the healing that the Lord has given her.  She is like her old self and I can't tell you how much that means to me.  I'm very thankful that I still have both my parents with me and that they are both doing well.

Well now to the fun stuff.  Here are this weeks deals.

Aren't they awesome?  I've got a some projects I made using the Gift Bow Bigz L Die and also one using the burlap ribbon.

The bows are so much fun to make and super easy.  I used the Burlap Ribbon as part of the bellyband that I made for around these boxes.  I do have a few of these items still for sale, so if you are interested in purchasing please feel free to contact me.

Well I hope this is the start of many new posts of showing you what is new and going on with Stampin'Up!.  You can purchase Stampin'Up! products by visiting my on line store at www.reneeond.stampinup.net or by contacting me anytime.  Thanks for stopping by.

Envelope Punch Board and So Much More

Check out this great video on the new Envelope Punch Board.  Click HERE  Everyone needs this amazing tool.  It's the next best thing since sliced bread.  If you don't understand that statement then you are much too young.  *wink*

I thought I'd share quickly here before I have to leave one of the Clear Stamp Case notebook holders I made and sold at last weeks scrapbooking retreat.  I will share more soon.  I'm off to the hunting lodge for the last time this week and then it's wedding cake baking for the next two days.  Hoping the weekend will allow me time to catch up on Stampin'Up! business and be able to share more.  Thanks again for sticking with me.

Winner of the Blog Candy

I know I was suppose to have announced the winner last Friday, but I got some unexpected news from the doctor on Friday and I am being sent to a specialist for further testing.  Not the news I had hoped for.  So needless to say I was pretty depressed on Friday and I didn't even darken the door of my stamp room until this morning.  I also came down with a sore throat and cough on the weekend as well.  Yeah, I'm lucky like that.  LOL!  Anyway it is back to work today, at least partially.

The winner of the Snowglobe stamp is.........Wanda G.  Wanda you have 24 hrs to contact me with your address of where to send your stamp and thanks for being a faithful blog reader.  I sure appreciate it.  Thanks to everyone else who left a comment.  I appreciate you all.  I don't get a lot of comments on my blog, but I know I get a lot of hits so someone is enjoying my blog and that in and of itself makes me happy.

I also want Becky Hughey, Wendy Zick, Joni Reimann and Chris McCarthy to know that I haven't forgotten about the little treat I promised you for the little contest I had on my Facebook page. I will be working on those this week.  If you haven't liked my Facebook page, feel free to do so.  You can find it here www.facebook.com/stampinwithrenee.

Here is today's share.....

This was a gift card that was a make and take at my last workshop.  I got the idea from fellow demonstrator Jacki Topa.  I think this has to be one of the best gift card holders ever and I love that you get to use the Envelope Punch Board to make it.  Here are a few other pictures to see how it works.

The gift card holder part pulls up as you open the card.  So cute!  Thanks Jackie for the inspiration.

Well that is it for now.  Have a great day!
Blessings,
Renee

Wow! This is my 800th post!

I was surprised this morning when I realized this will be my 800th post.  I started my blog on Oct 3, 2007.  That's almost 5 years ago.  I've averaged about 3 posts a week.  Not too bad, I guess.  I enjoy doing my blog, it just seems that I'm not very good at managing my time and getting posts up.  I've really been working hard on that as of late, but it seems my health issues have sort of had to take center stage.  Had some tests yesterday and hopefully they will show what is going on and then we can move onto a treatment.  Being sick is so hard on a person like me who wants to be busy and enjoying life, but when you don't feel good it is really hard.  When I don't feel like stamping then I know I'm not in a good place.  Trusting the Lord to see me through this time and onto some better health.

So since this is my 800th post I'll share a few things with you today.  Here is the hostess gift that I told you about yesterday.

This was so fun and quick to make.  I picked up the candle at the Dollar General uptown, took off the label and added the Halloween Washi Tape.  I stamped the Trick or Treat from the Tags 4 You set.  To get the two colors...Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black I used my Stampin'Write markers.  The black piece behind it is a framelit from the Apothacary Accents.  Tied some Pumpkin Pie 1/8" ribbon and it was done.  I hope they will have some of these candles in Christmas colors because I think these will make cute little inexpensive gifts.

Finally the Big Shot Platform is available again.  Due to it's popularity when the catalog went live, the Platform was sold out.  Stampin'Up! had ordered enough to last 12 weeks and they ended up selling out in 3 weeks.  It is an awesome product and as of today you can once again place an order for it.  You can order from my online store HERE or give me a shout and I can order it for you.  I will be closing an order in the next couple of days so just let me know if you'd like to place an order.  For those of you wanting to know, I've been told this platform will work in the Cuttlebug.  I'm not sure of the sandwich you'd use, but it is small enough to fit.
The Best of 25 Years stamp set has been released as well.  It is called the best of Autumn.

You can see all the details HERE.

I made this card using up some scraps I had on my work space.  The background on this card was made using painters tape.  Tear off a piece of tape, lay it on your ink pad, rub your finger over it, pick up the tape and lay it on your cardstock, rub and lift.  It's fun to see what color combos you can come up with.

So now that you've made it to the end, I've got a little surprise.  I'm going to give away a little blog candy since this is my 800th post.

To be entered to win this stamp just leave a comment and tell me how long you've been following my blog and also one of the following:
1. Have you ever hosted a party with me?
2. If you'd like to be a hostess and earn free merchandise?
3. How often do you visit my blog?
4. Do you subscribe to my blog?
You only need to answer one, but please feel free to answer more if you so choose.  It won't increase your chances of winning, but it will let me know who I am reaching with my blog.  Thanks so much!  I will draw the winner on September 19th.  Good Luck!

Blessings,
Renee
