Oh My Pumpkins and Pie. It's the One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop!!! Where has the time gone? Fall is just a crazy time for me. I'm sort of hoping that next year may be a little different, but we shall see. I'm so glad you've decided to hop with me today. I love Fall, so this was a great theme for me. You may have come by the way of the talented Tina Riddle's blog, so welcome. If you get lost on the hop you can always come back here and see the list at the bottom for the complete list of hoppers.
Now to today's projects. I am so tickled with how these projects turned out and I can't wait to share them with you. Here is the inspiration for my card.
These are ceramic pumpkins that I purchased 7 years ago, while we were displaced, after our house fire. I just needed something pretty that was mine to put in the bedroom while we stayed with my parents. That was a hard time being displaced for seven months and not having your own stuff around you. When I saw the theme for this month's hop I knew I wanted to use these as my inspiration. These sit on top of my refrigerator every Fall and remind me of all that God brought us through during that time.
I wish you could see the Wink of Stella on the leave designs. It's so sparkly. I used the swirl behind the pumpkin from the Star of Light stamp set in the holiday catalog. The ribbon is also from the holiday catalog. I don't have a current Happy Thanksgiving set so I used the Labeler Alphabet to stamp the sentiment. Our photopolymer stamps are so great for lining up easily. The pumpkin top and the leaves are from the recently retired Thoughful Branches thinlits. I will have a complete list on the bottom if you want to know exactly what was used.
Now for my 3D project. I think I really outdid myself, if I do say so myself. I've wanted to do this with the Cutie Pie thinlits from the first time I saw them and now I finally have. What do you think? Would you like a slice?
I hope you've enjoyed these projects. I had a lot of fun making them to share with you. Now hop on to my friend Andrea's blog. She has some cute projects to share. I know because I may have seen a peek.
