Welcome to the March OSAT blog hop!!! It's almost spring here and we've had a couple of spring like days in the last week, but Ol' Man Winter probably show his face one more time or two. My projects are very spring like. I hope you enjoy them!
For my projects I decided to bring out my favorite, Fable Friends stamp set. A little coloring and a little fussy cutting and I have what I think are adorable projects. First lets look at my card. It started with the Buffalo Plaid background stamped in Petal Pink and cut out with the Stitched so Sweetly dies and then I went from there. That piece was actually in my little box of pieces parts of elements that were too good to throw away. I used that and then built my card around it.
You'll be able to find all the products and colors used on my projects, below.
I just love this 3D project I've been making some twine covered eggs to add into my dough bowl that I decorate for the different holidays and seasons so I thought, why not carry it over into my stamping as well I covered a plastic egg with twine that I purchased at the Ben Franklin store. It's a lot heavier twine than what SU carries and it covers quicker than fine twine. I used hot glue to attach it. I then took the 3/8" scalloped lace trim and and glued it around the egg. I did once around with the scallops facing down and the next time with them facing up. I then tied two of the Bird Ballad Trinkets around it using Linen Thread. I then attached my colored bunny with a bit of hot glue because I wanted to make sure it stays on well. A fun and fairly quick Easter decoration.
Isn't he just the cutest? I added a bit of the Shimmery Crystal Effects to his ears.
Well I hope you have enjoyed my projects and that you will continue on the hop by clicking on the name below mine in the list below. Thanks for stopping.
Blessings,
Renee
