Project Life by Stampin'Up!
Watch this video and learn a little about what is coming to Stampin'Up! and their partnership with Becky Higgins and Project Life. I think this is going to be a great partnership and a fun new product for many of you. An easier way to scrapbook, but yet still be creative. I've actually been working on something like this using a scrapbook that was in our last holiday mini catalog and using all Stampin'Up! products and I really love the idea. I know you will too.
I'll try and do another post today in my series of Scrap It Up! if I can today. I'm down with bronchitis and strict orders from my doctor that I need to rest so I'm not sure if I'll make it down to the stampin' room to upload today. All my project photos are on my desktop computer.
I'm just getting back to this. I've had a bad day. Lots of coughing and very weak. I'm hoping tomorrow will be better. I'm exhausted, but wanted to finish posting this.
Since today is "Tax Day" I wanted to offer a little special. Any orders placed starting today through Monday, April 21 by 10:00 a.m. I will pay your sales tax. That's right FREE SALES TAX! Orders can be placed on my website as usual and I will reimburse you your sales tax, but you must use the Hostess Code NXB34XKQ. You can also contact me by email ( ibecakes@airadv.net ), phone (989)-453-3267 home number or cell phone (989) 551-1685 or text my cell as well. Don't forget orders must be in by 10:00 a.m. Monday morning to qualify.
Be sure to check out Stampin'Up!'s home page at www.stampinup.com to view this week's Weekly Deals. I'm posting from mobile so I can't put the specials on this post. I will try and do that tomorrow as well as post a project for you.

Renee

Scrap It Up!....Day #4
This card makes me think of the times that my friend Vicki and I have gone to our annual scrapbooking weekend. Road trip, no men and lots of laughs. I'm looking forward to road trip two weeks from tomorrow as well with my friend and Stampin'Up! upline Amy. We are headed to a simulcast event in Walled Lake for SU demonstrators. Stampin'Up! will be revealing the new 2014-2015 catalog live from Long Beach, CA and it is being simulcasted to theaters across the country at the same time. This is only for demonstrators and is something completely new they are trying. I'm so excited to go and I know that Amy and I are going to have a great time.
The focal point came from the scrap box as did the Very Vanilla layer and the Pool Party layer. The stamped image was one that was left over from my convention trades last year. You can see it HERE. I've got lots of these pieces left over from the using the jumbo wheel called Shop Around (page 98 in the catalog). I'll be showing you several other cards using these pieces up later this week. The Very Vanilla layer was a piece I had cut out the circle using a framelit for another project so it worked perfect for this card. Notice the teeny tiny Adhesive Backed Pearls I used? The background was stamped with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. I love that stamp set. It can be used in so many ways and on so many styles.
Hope I've given you more inspiration to get busy using those scraps. Thanks for stopping by.

Renee

Some Easter Inspiration
Well I finally finished out taxes. Seems I just dread doing them every year and procrastinate big time. I have a problem with makes piles that is for another day and the "another day" never comes until tax day. LOL! Any hoo, they are done! Yay!
I'm going to take a break today from the Scrap It Up! series since I haven't had time to edit my pics I've taken. I'm going to share a couple of Easter cards with you. What I do when I share things I've made is to photograph them and then edit and I then save them to my desktop. I know if they are on my desktop then I haven't posted them so here's a couple from the desktop.
Colors here are Daffodil Delight and Perfect Plum. The Gold Sequins give it that touch of bling.
Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for more Scrap It Up! projects.

Renee

I have to say that daffodils are one of my favorite flowers so when I saw the idea of making the Petite Petals Punch into a daffodil I knew I had to make a card doing just that. This card just screams Spring to me. Colors used are Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green. The little centers of the flowers are made using the Punch Pack that is on sale though Monday. You get three punches for $12.71. Great time to order them and the item number is 118309.

Scrap It Up! Day #3
First let me say that I have been having so much fun with this new challenge I gave myself and at the same time I'm using up stuff that is just sitting in a box. I've really got so many cards done up now that I think I should share more than one today. Here goes..........
This one started from the leftover pieces of Watercolor DSP. I just can't bring myself to throw away even the tiniest scraps of DSP. I used the Hearts a Flutter Framelits to cut the DSP. I've had these framelits for awhile, but haven't used them very much. The butterflies were punched out from scrap pieces with the smaller butterflies being attached with dimensionals. And what is a butterfly without some bling. I added rhinestones to their little bodies. The "thx" comes from the Circle Card Thinlets. Ran the Pool Party piece through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. A pretty simple card, but look at all the pieces I used up.
This is just cool card, I think. The Peachy Keen stamp set is so cool to begin with the and I love the Retro Fresh DSP. The polka dot pieces are from the 2013-2015 In Color DSP stack. Again these are all miss matched pieces, but they came together to make this neat card.
Just for fun I want to share a card I made quite awhile ago and just hadn't shard. It too uses the Peachy Keen stamp set.
I think this would make a good masculine card. The Gold Foil paper really makes this card pop.
Thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment if you see something you like or have a question about anything.

Renee

Scrap It Up! Day #2
Today is day #2 of Scrap It Up! Yes, I had several stamped crooked "Hello Friend" pieces in my box and this one goes perfect with the phone from the Timeless Treasures stamp set. You need/want this stamp set. You know you do! I used a piece of retired DSP from "the box" and I had 2 more pieces of the Very Vanilla and Early Espresso in there as well. I felt like this card needed a little bling so I chose the Gold Sequin Trim from the Occasions catalog and layered it over some 7/16" burlap like trim ribbon from the main catalog. I then added some random sequins for extra bling. Our Glue Dots work great for attaching these. Colors are Baked Brown Sugar, Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Well that is it for today. Thanks for stopping by. I sure appreciate it and as always if you would like to place an order you can do so by visiting my website www.reneeond.stampinup.net and clicking on the SHOP NOW button. Don't forget to check out this weeks latest deals and the awesome Clearance Rack. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Scrap It Up! Day 1
Did you notice the new look to the blog? Not exactly how I'd like it, but it will do for now until I get time to work on it again. As promised I'm bringing you Day 1 of what I'm calling Scrap It Up! Here is the box that I'm working from.
This is actually one of the boxes that I'm starting with. I'm starting with it because it is the biggest one. I'm looking through the box and finding something that I've punched, stamped or cut out and I just can't bring myself to throw it away because I'm sure there is something that can be done with it.
This is the first card I'd like to share.
This card started with the Hello Friend piece that had been stamped crooked on a piece of Tangerine Tango. I used a banner from the the Thinlets Circle Card Die to cut it out straight. The Hello Friend is from the stamp set Peachy Keen. I love the stamp set that I used for the focal point on this card. It's from Timeless Talk. It is one of the first sets I purchased after the new catalog came out. This was stamped on a scrap as well. The Pool Party piece is a piece of Core'dinations cardstock that was leftover from a make and take. I ran it through the Alphabet Press embossing folder and used a sanding block to give it that aged looked. I love the color combo on this card...Tangerine Tango, Pool Party and Early Espresso. The ribbon is Pumpkin Pie, but it cooridnates so well.
I hope I've inspired you to look at your scrap pile a little different. Tune in tomorrow for another Scrap It Up! project.
Blessings,
Renee

Wow!!!
Wow! I can't believe it has been two months today since I have posted on my blog. I've been calling myself a bad blogger, but I didn't realize how bad I've been. It's not that I haven't been stamping, creating and working my business, but I guess blogging has taken a back burner. I'm not proud of that and I know that there are many of you that miss me when I don't blog and I'm sorry for that. Life has held many changes it seems and some are easier to deal with than others. I won't go into detail because really who wants to hear all that? I know I don't. I've decided it's time for me to get back to doing some of the things I enjoy and one of those things is sharing my creations and my life with you all that stop by my blog. Life can certainly get one down, but that doesn't mean we have to stay there.
Yesterday was my 14th anniversary of being a Stampin'Up! demonstrator. In the home business/direct selling that is really a long time. I was reflecting on that and thought, "Wow!, that is an accomplishment." I really am thankful that God has given me that desire of my heart to be a creative person, but more importantly that He allows me to share it and I really haven't been that faithful in doing so or at least here on line, but I am going to try and do better. I'm a firm believer that if you don't use your talents that they may be taken away and I certainly wouldn't want that to happen.
So now if you've stuck with me through all that, I have some things to share with you. I'll clean up my desktop and share the things that I have done recently and then starting in a day or two I will be doing a series that I'm going to call "Scrap it Up!" No it doesn't have anything to do with scrapbooking, but will be a series of projects that I have made using my scrap box. Hopefully you will find inspiration in what I've come up with trying to use mainly what is in my scrap box. Sometimes when you limit yourself to using what is in front of you, you can really get the creative juices flowing.
This is one of the Valentine Card in a Box that I made for my daughters for Valentine's Day this year. I like to make them something that is not only a card, but something that they can use as a decoration and I think these really fit the bill. If you need the directions/sizes that I used, please feel free to contact me, but if you do a search for a Card in a Box, you'll find lots of ideas. I will be teaching this in an up coming class for those that are local.
This little cutie was cased from Pinterest as well. I can't remember who the original creator was, so if it was you please let me know and I'll be more than glad to give you credit. I think it was someone from the UK, but again I'm not sure. I added a cute little flower to mine. We made this card at the Bay Shore Scrapbooking Retreat that I vendored the first of March. The ladies just loved it!!!
OK, this has turned into a rather long post. I hope you've enjoyed my projects and please feel free to leave a comment now and then. If you blog, you know how wonderful it is to receive comments and if you don't well now you do. *giggle*
Thanks for stopping by!

This one is using some SAB DSP and the bow was made using the Envelope Punch Board. I believe this idea came from Deb Valder and I found it on Pinterest.

This is a card that I made way back when the Occasions catalog debuted, but just never got around to posting it. If you love to color then this beautiful set is for you. It's called So Very Grateful and is available in the Occasions catalog. You can view that by clicking on the catalog icon on the right.
