This is the board that this was made with. It is called Masonite board. I had some of this board that was used for a vacation bible school one year. You can find it at your local lumber supply store. My dad cut these boards at the time and they measure 4" x 10". He also had drilled the holes as well. This is a sturdy, but fairly light weight board.
Here are some of the details, but I will post all the supplies used on the bottom of this post. The DSP was cut to fit 4" x 10". The welcome words were cut 6 times and then glued on top of each other to give dimension to the words. The center of the flowers were cut with the Magnolia Memory dies and the outer part of the flower was from the Hot Air Balloom punch. I also brought in the Rooted with Nature for some of the leaves to give variety. I used my bone folder on all the flower pieces and leaves to give them dimension. I even found myself squeezing the ends of the leaves to make them more realistic looking, so don't be afraid to scrunch a little.
Currently I have this hanging in our kitchen from our clock. Our kitchen is mostly windows and cupboards so I don't have a lot of wall space, but this is right in view when you walk into our kitchen so it works for me. It draws attention that way.
Well thanks for hopping with me today. Be sure and follow the rest of the hop around to see some amazing projects,
Blessings,
Renee
