OSAT Blog Hop Down on the Farm

Welcome to the OSAT July Blog Hop!!!! Can you believe it's July already?   I know I can't.  Seems like we just finally got summer weather here in Michigan, but what could be a better theme than down on the farm.  While we are not farmers, we do live in the country and our place was once a working farm.  We are surrounded by corn in the fields this year and I love that because it helps cut down on the wind.  I knew immediately what stamp sets I wanted to use with this theme, but it took e a little time to come up with my projects, but I'm happy with how they turned out and I hope you are too.  So here we go!!!!

I actually used three stamp sets on this card.  I first chose the cow from Over the Moon set and then picked the pig from This Little Piggy and last, but not least I had to use Barn Door.  I have a list and links to all the items used at the end of this post.  I did fussy cut the cow and the pig, but I think it was worth it in this case as I was able to pop them up on Dimensionals to make them really pop. I then layered it all on our beautiful Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series paper.  This paper is so beautiful and versatile.  It can be country with the wood grain sheets or elegant and vintage with the beautiful flowered sheets.  Take a look at the sheets by clicking on the product link below.

For my 3D project, I chose one of our simple white pizza boxes and again that beautiful Pressed Petals Specialty DSP.  The sheet that you cut apart and can use the individual pieces worked great on covering this box.  Wouldn't this box and its sentiment be perfect to give to someone that you care about?

I used the various words from these sets to come up with my sentiment.  The This Little Piggy set has the words attached to the images, but I quickly changed that by cutting them apart so that I can mix up the words with the different images and that's what made this so easy to do.

I truly hope you've enjoyed these projects as much as I enjoyed making them for you! Be sure and click on the list below to follow the hop.

Blessings,
Renee
