OSAT Blog Hop Christmas in July

Welcome to the One Stamp at a Time monthly blog hop.  This month's hop is Christmas in July.  Do you like "Christmas in July" or are you not ready?  July is the perfect month to start thinking about making your Christmas cards.  Wouldn't it be nice to have them all made and ready to send ahead of time?  I know I would and I think this blog hop will get you into the mood.  So lets see what I've made first and then at the bottom of this post you will find the list of the other bloggers so that you can continue the hop.
First lets start off with my card.  I chose a softer and maybe a little different pallet of colors for my projects rather than the traditional red and green.  While I do love red (my favorite color) and green, I like to mix it up and think outside of the box.  I started with a little sneak peek item as my inspiration for this card.  It's the DSP called Whimsy & Wonder.  This DSP will be available to purchase on August 3, 2021.  You are going to love it!!!  I actually used one of the more subdued papers in this pack.  If you like a little traditional, a little whimsical and a little out of the box, you will absolutely love this DSP as much as I do.  The rest of the supplies on my projects are currently all available for purchase from our annual catalog and are listed at the bottom of this post.
Of course I love to fancy up the inside of my cards and Christmas cards are no exception, actually they are the rule for me.  I continued to use the same stamp set and coordinating punch for this as well.
My 3D project this month is a coordinating gift box using our mini Paper Pumpkin boxes.  These boxes are great for any small gift or how about a gift card?  They measure 5-7/8" x 3-3/4"x 1" so it's an easy way to make a great presentation for those small gifts.  Again I went with the same theme and paper on this project as well.  While I added the 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon in Polished Pink, I still added a piece of the awesome 1-1/2 Metallic Mesh ribbon that matches the bow on the card.  This ribbon is so fun to use since it is so airy.  It's great to add just a small piece as I did here to tie on my tag or it can be tied into a bow like I did on the card and it attaches easily with a glue dot.
Did you notice the Christmas tree in the background of my pics?  No I didn't put it up special for this hop.  I actually keep a slim line rotating tree on display in my living room year round.  I love lights and trees so what better way to keep that in my house year round?!?!  Right now it is decorated with an Americana theme and will most likely stay that way the rest of the summer and then it will be all fall for this girl.  Maybe sometime I should share on my blog all the seasonal decorations I put up year round. I love decorating my house and doing holiday and seasonal decorations is a great way for a change.  Did I mention I love trees? LOL!  Trees are throughout my house year round.  While they aren't all big trees, I do have a bit of the outdoors displayed throughout my house. And yes, I do own almost every tree stamp or did own every tree stamp that Stampin'Up! has put out in the last 21 years.

Well thank you for stopping by and I hope you've enjoyed my projects and that I've peeked your interest in our up coming August - January Mini Catalog.  Please click on the next person in the list below to continue the hop and get some amazing ideas for your Christmas and holiday projects.
Blessings,
Renee
