OSAT Blog Hop Blooms

Welcome to the One Stamp at a Time March blog hop.  I sure missed hopping last month, but something had to give and I needed to take care of me.  Something I'm trying to get better at so that I feel better.  It sure is a hard lesson to learn and I'm not too sure I'm doing a very good job at it, but I keep trying.  With this months theme it wasn't very hard to find a set in my stash to make my projects.  Stampin'Up! definitely does blooms well.  I chose the Artistically Inked bundle to make my projects with.  I wish the lighting was better on my photos, but there wasn't any sunshine at the time of my photo taking,  If they were better, you could see all the sparkle and shine on my projects.  I used lots of new products on my projects and you will find the list below of what was used and the link to purchase if you are interested in doing so.

So without further ado, here are my projects.

This die is to "die for". LOL!  It is so pretty cute out and as just a stand alone piece like I did here on my card.  I cut it out using the Mother of Pearl paper in the current Mini Catalog and used the blending brush to give it a soft pink hue.  The blending brushes are super easy to use and I find them even better than our stamping sponges and daubers.  Have you tried them?  You really shouldn't if you haven't.  I will be using them in  my next class.  I ran a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock through the TimeWorn 3D embossing folder just for a hint of texture.  As you can see I used the amazingly beautiful Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP as my back layer on top of the Polished Pink folded card.  The hardest part about using this paper is trying to decide what sheet to use.  It is all so very pretty.  I used the Banners Pick a Punch to make my sentiment.  The Mint Macaron layer and the sentiment are popped up with dimensionals.  I used the Soft Succulent ribbon on this card and quite frankly I think is is just the right contrast with the Mint Macaron.  Don't you think so?  I find a lot of times our ribbons can be the color stated or put it with another color in the same hue family and it works well too.  Of course no card would be complete in my book without some bling and I used the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to finish it off
My daughter Brooke helped me one day a couple of weeks ago to go through some plastic totes I have of various crafting supplies and low and behold I found this frame that I had purchased years ago at Target.  How I remember that I don't know because I usually can't remember what I did 5 minutes ago, but I remembered this frame.  This 3D frame project is a great way to showcase more of the stunning Expressions in Ink Specialty DSP.  I wish you could see all the sparkle of this project.  Taking pictures just doesn't do it justice.  Hmmmm maybe I need to upgrade my phone for better picture taking?  Now there's a thought and a business expense.  LOL!  I stamped and die cut the two flowers and the leaves and they glued them behind the same die that I used on the card, only this time I cut it out in Gold Foil.  The spray of leaves were cut out with the Supple Shimmer cardstock.  If you haven't ordered this, you better get at it.  It is so stinkin' pretty and the glitter does not come off.  I wish we had this paper in every color we carry.  Can you tell I like sparkle and shine? LOL!  I then used the Amazing Thanks dies for the words.  Yes, you get the word dies and the shadow dies for the words in this great die set.
Well thank you so much for stopping by and you can continue the hop by clicking on the next person's name below mine. I know you'll find great inspiration from this month's hop.
Blessings,
Renee
