Well I'm back this afternoon. I know it will be a surprise for you all that check your postings from me several times a day to see if there is something new. (insert my friend Kris here) I know I let you down many times, but maybe if I received more comments I'd post more? LOL! Anyway here I am.
This is the card I told you yesterday that I would show. I once again used the Blendies (that's what I'm going to call them from now on) since Blendabilities seems so long. I used Daffodil Delight to color this one and then for the center I used one of the darker skin tones. Kinda Eclectic is the stamp set. I used Chocolate Chip to stamp the little circles and the words. I'm thinking I probably should have used Early Espresso. I think I would have liked that better.
This card I made this morning because I wanted to try coloring ribbon with the Blendies. Let me say that the ribbon colors so easily and you don't end up with inky fingers. I used the darkest shade of Coastal Cabana and it actually matches very well to Bermuda Bay. So the colors here are Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana. I used the Foral Framelits for the die cuts. Tomorrow I'll show you another way to used that set of dies. You are going to say, "why didn't I think of that", because that is what I said when I saw the idea.
This picture of this card has been floating around on my computer desktop so I'm not sure if I shared this before or not. I usually keep them on my desktop until I've posted them and then I drop them into a folder and this one seems to still be there so I'm not sure if I shared it and didn't move it or if it's never been shared. Either way, here it is. Did you follow all that? I'm not sure I did. LOL!
Last, but not least is the door decoration I made for my daughter Brooke's apartment. This looks small, but actually the rosette is the size of a small dinner plate. Now I'm wondering did I already share this? My mind is going somewhere these days. Wish it would give me a hint as to where. LOL! I know I could look back and check these things, but that would be way too easy. *wink*
So that should be good for today. Thanks for stopping by!
Blessings,
Renee
