Peek-a-boo
I made this little peek-a-boo box after I discovered it on a blog. I'm sorry I don't remember who's it was. I had just quickly sketched a pattern out when I saw it and then got around to making it yesterday. If it's your idea, please let me know and I'll be glad to give you the credit. I filled it with maple nut candies. Yum! Would you like to know how I made it? Call or email me and schedule your SU party and we can have this as a make and take at your party. What do ya say?
Speaking of Peek-a-boo.......
Who better to play peek-a-boo with than the 3 babies of our friends Jim and Trish Steinman--Sarah, Skylar and Sadie. Seems they are constantly loosing their "nips" as they call them. I call them "suckies" since that is what we called them with our girls. Anyway, finding the holders for them hasn't been easy, so with the idea of my Lindsay (she doesn't really do crafts) and my SU ribbon and jewelry making supplies, these are what I made. Lindsay dug out one of hers from her save box from when she was a baby (it actually looked kind of icky) and that is what I used for my inspiration. Not the icky part, but the design. LOL Now the Steinman babies are SU babies with the "In Colors" of their suckie holders. If the girls had been younger I would have put a decoration on the top party, but the age they are now they'd probably just tear it to pieces. Here are the precious little ones.
The twins Sadie and Skylar who are now 7 1/2 months
and big sister Sarah who is 10 1/2 months. No they are not triplets born on different dates. They truly were long awaited for babies though.
Have a great holiday weekend,
Renee

Open House Night and Class Info
This little lamb idea came from fellow demo Patty Bennett's web site. Her friend Sharon had sent her a card with a cute little sheep similar to this. I did change mine up a little and used the 5 Petal flower punch for the head and legs. The little googly eyes are a must. I tried using the white gel pen for the eyes and the poor little sheep just looked creepy. I used the Bella Rose DSP and Pretty in Pink cardstock. The thank you is from Flight of the Butterfly, another set we received at convention. And speaking of that, the bookmark below is made using the same set. The butterfly is raised on a dimensional with an additional butterfly stamped and cut out in Kiwi Kiss underneath. This really gives it some dimension.

New In Colors
I'm having such a hard time posting right now because I'm trying to save things for my open house which is next Monday evening. If I've already posted this card, I apologize, but I don't think when I posted this it was made into a card yet, it was just the flowers. I am truly loving the new "in colors". It really rejuvenates all our 48 plus other colors as well. So please forgive the lack of new stuff right now. I will post more after my open house. Hope to see a lot of you on Monday.

My New Blue Period?????
Ok, that's all for today. I have a workshop tonight up in Whittemore. It's a little over 2 hrs. away so I'll have to leave early this afternoon. Frank is going with me so that is always nice. Speaking of nice, he's been extremely nice lately. I keep kidding him that I must be dying and don't know it. LOL He's been waiting on me a lot lately, weird, but good. Actually he is a good hubby. Thanks for all you support Frankieboy!
This is a 2 3/4" square and I punched the scalloped edge punch in the middle of each side and then backed it with the Pacific Point cardstock. The lighter blue is the Baja Breeze.
Same colors here except of a little Certainly Celery thrown in.
Enjoy!

Inspired by Nature
Well what do you think? This card was made with the new sets I received at convention. The long grassy stamp is from the set Inspired by Nature. The butterflies are from a set called Flight of the Butterfly and the word Peace is from the new Big Shot die Frank won at convention. I used a little glitter on the butterfly, but in the picture it looks like it's more on the card. It really looks better IRL. Honest. The colors used are Baja Breeze and Pacific Point, two of our new "In Colors." I also used the new Scalloped Edged punch. You are gonna need this right off the bat. I guarantee you.
I will be sharing more about the Big Shot die cutting machine that was unveiled at convention along with some other neat stuff later on this week. I placed my order from the new catalog this afternoon it should be here within a day or two. Yes, I did expedited shipping. Did you know that even as a customer or hostess you can choose expedited shipping? If you want more details about this option please contact me. I looked through my convention pics and can't seem to find one of the Big Shot so you'll have to wait until mine comes. This little puppy will open up a whole new dimension to our paper crafting.
I'm off to my mom and dad's tonight. My cousin from California is here for another couple of days and we have a family get together. Yes, the whole family. Please say a prayer. LOL Really, I don't mean the LOL, but it does make me sound nicer. Doesn't it? *grin*

Now since I've been gone and haven't had the time to get these all done please be patient if I get the catalog to you and not the gift right now. You know I'm good for it. Right? I am also working on the bookmark for the catalogs. I received a much better idea than mine at convention and I'm trying to get the details worked out on that as well. I promise though I will get the catalogs to you all that have pre-ordered just as soon as I can. Now we just need to wait on the man in brown.
So to tide you over a little here are a couple of samples that were demoed at convention. This first one is by Mary Polcin from Wisconsin. He actually received her award for being the first to reach her 1 million dollars in personal career sales. Way to go Mary!
This one was shown on stage as well, but I just can't remember by who. I'm sorry. I thought this might interest some of my Halloween stampin' fans.
Hopefully the next post will be that the catties have arrived so until then...............
Blessings
Renee
