More Rose Wonder

I've got another Rose Wonder card for you today.  This time I used the large main focal image from the thinlits dies.  I did a little paper piecing on this and it was fun, but I'm not sure I'd do a lot of these or at least at one time.  I think though that piecing in the Blushing Bride cardstock was worth the effort and our amazing Fine Tip Glue Pen makes it a lot easier to do it.

I cut one whole die in Calypso Coral and then cut another in Wild Wasabi and cut the leaves off and just layered it over the Calypso Coral leaves.  You can't even tell that it's layered.  I then cut another flower in Blushing Bride and took that pieces you would normally throw out and glued them inside the rose.  The greeting is embossed.  I first inked up my stamp in Versamark ink and then inked it on the Early Espresso ink pad and stamped.  By inking on the Versamark first it allowed the ink to dry slower and I was able to sprinkle on Clear Embossing Powder over it and it looks like it was embossed with Early Espresso.  This is a great way to expand your ink pads by using Versamark and clear embossing powder.

Have you noticed the new side bar items I've added?  You can now see the Weekly Deals on the top left side and underneath that you can view the Occasions Catalog and the Sale-a-bration Catalog as well.  If you have any questions or I can be of any help to your, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Well I hope you enjoyed this and I'll see you tomorrow.
Blessings,
Renee
